In summary

Cherry Blossom Golf & Country Club is often praised for its well-maintained greens, enjoyable layout, and challenging holes, making it a popular choice for golfers seeking a fun and engaging experience. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, and the course offers beautiful views and a good practice area. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the fairways and rough, noting that these areas can be overgrown or poorly maintained, which detracts from the overall experience. Additionally, there have been occasional complaints about the cost relative to the course's condition and the need for improved communication about maintenance issues.

Had the pleasure😍to play here I was staying in Lexington and had golf courses near hotel but I decided to explore Georgetown and cherry blossom came up. This is a very well manicured course. Fairways are nice wide and long and the greens were big and fast and great condition 👍 I'm from Florida and love playing new courses This course has nice layout and a few challenging but fun holes🏌️🤩👌 the staff and starters were friendly and helpful 👍 I Would recommend to play here if u have the chance⛳ Pars and Birdies😉🏌️

Played Cherry Blossom on 28Sep25 and it was in the worst shape I have ever seen a "Public" golf course in for the rates they are charging, carrying a laundry list of issues that a course charging $70 a round should NEVER have. Firstly the course conditions were abysmal and every member and person living on that course should be ashamed of, the fairways looked like my back yard and were 2-3 inches tall, IF they had grass, there were many barren spots and places actuals chunks of the ground were gone, hitting the fairway most times would result in your ball being 2/3 buried in grass (photo attac…

What a fabulous weather day to play such a NICE golf ⛳ course! Nice green grassy conditions. Our first time and NOT our last! Very good fairways to take a divet. Greens very good shape and balls would " stick" . Cost is worth it! Be back next year!

I really want to love this course because the layout is awesome, but the rough is just too long. I love a challenge on the golf course but when you can’t find balls 10 yards off the fairway or green It’s a bit excessive. And if miraculously you do find your ball, grab a wedge and hack it out because there’s no way you’re getting any other club on that ball. If you’re coming to this course, bring at least a dozen golf balls

12/2019 recent visit, greens are the best I've ever seen ( lived here for 5 years ) them so go play now!!! They are perfectly firm and they've cut them tight so quick and roll true!! Hopefully in 2020 more cart paths can get some needed work/replaced but otherwise the course is in great shape for winter time Play this track from the tips and it's all you want, the layout is great because for the most part the whole course is right in front of you...a few holes have some tricky shots that are risk reward of course which makes it pretty fun; 16,17 & 18 are a solid stretch to finish your round a…

I normally LOVE this course even though the last 3 holes kill my score. But on Sunday, Sept 28 we were charged full price for a course that was in awful condition. The greens rolled well but outside of that, the tee boxes, fairways, and rough were beyond terrible. Balls were plugged and lost in fairways as the grass was so high. The rough was similar. In cases like this, the course should mention in advance what to expect as the fees represent private course and good quality. I am disappointed in the condition today and hope that ownership can be more transparent in these cases.

Tough course, Three or four inches of rough tough finding your ball when you hit it there.. Premiums on keeping the ball in play, greens were very nice. They tell me It has the three hardest finishing holes in kentucky, I did not find them all that tough. But then again they were not the easiest either.

Hubby and I are in town for a funeral but wanted to try and get a quick nine in somewhere. I did my research and we chose Cherry Blossom. Great choice! The course is in great shape even with the rain the day before. It was a nice challenge. The only note is that our tee time was 4:10p and the folks behind us were at 4:30 but they tee’d off right after our second shot and they were on our tails the entire time. We weren’t playing slow (finished under 2 hours), they just started too soon. Would definitely return here for a full 18 😀😀😀

I played this course over the weekend with my father-in-law, and we were less than impressed with the condition of the course. It does not look like there has been any maintenance done on this course in years. Tee boxes were full of weeds and mostly dirt. The fairways were as bad as any course I have ever played. The greens were by far the best part of the entire course. This course should be ashamed for charging anyone any greens fees, let alone $70 dollars, and should be only taking donations to pay a groundskeeper or the water bill to try and grow grass again on the fairways. The layout was…

Played Friday 8/22. We like this course, drive an hour a few times a year to play here. Course is currently not in good shape at all. Fairways are burnt up and mostly gone, especially #1. Greens are ok but a lot of pitch marks, I tried to fix 10 per hole. My biggest complaint is that they didn’t acknowledge the poor conditions and offer any discount (we paid $70 pp). We will not be back this year, sorry.

Started out with attentive service from Joyce, a delicious chicken quesadilla and this amazing side salad. I would give this 2 stars but everyone in our party was pleased with the appetizers and entrees except me. I got grilled shrimp with peas as the additional side. The peas were inedible, canned and/or very over cooked, (the salsa for the quesadilla also tasted very much like it came from a jar and was forgettable). My shrimp was good up to the point I realized it wasn’t deveined. I had already eaten most of both skewers at that point so I wasn’t very happy. Next visit I will be sure to ask…
