In summary

Longview Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and enjoyable layout, particularly the back nine, which many find fun and challenging. The course has recently undergone improvements, such as the installation of a new irrigation system, though some areas are still under construction, leading to mixed reviews on course conditions. Common criticisms include slow pace of play, overbooking, and maintenance issues with the cart paths and tee boxes, suggesting that further improvements could enhance the overall experience.

Very nice course at a great price. Highly recommend if you are in the area

Overall easy layout but fun... The back nine has scoring possibilities if you play solid... Greens normally always in good shape, nice people in the pro shop and they have condos right by #1 tee box for stay and play... Restaurant never open though 🤔... Worth playing though!! They have an open men's league on Wednesdays which gets around 50 guys every week...play your own ball and 4 chances to win on league night...not bad at all plus good group of guys

Had a fun time with my kids at the range. They had a blast. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful and the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately the tee area was not very well kept up. The artificial turf was fine, but was difficult to get a tee in the ground. The grass area was all dirt. You had to move around a lot to get the tee area you wanted.

I have been going to Longview Golf Club for about 10 years for an annual stay and play with some friends and family. The newly installed sprinkler system has made a very positive difference for the playability of the course. The Condos have always been nicer than having hotel rooms. The breakfast and coffee is always fresh. The staff is fantastic. The place will be like new when they replace the cart paths. Keep up the good work and I'll see you next year.

Nice course layout. They recently added a irrigation system but was told the pump was not up and running yet so the course was a little dry. They haven't been able to plant grass over the trenches yet as a result. Tee boxes were a little rough but the greens were good. Staff was cheerful, helpful. A answered all our questions with a smile. The course will be awesome once the irrigation system is up and running.

It’s been a few years since I’ve played due to a back injury but I used to come to Longview pretty regularly. It’s not nearly the same course as about 6 years ago. The cart paths are in really bad shape, fairways not very well maintained (lots of evidence of the irrigation work they speak about in the reviews), nobody fixes their divots on the greens and the Tee Boxes are rock hard. I know it’s not Valhalla and it’s not nearly as expensive but even the regular summer rates seem to be too much for the course in this shape. I hope they get it back but in this condition I can’t recommend it. Sorr…

Overpriced not well kept at all. Cart paths are bad yeah, but that’s not a big deal if the course is nice. This is NOT a nice course. You can find plenty of courses within 20-30 mins cheaper and better quality

The course is in rough shape but the biggest issue is the pace of slow. It’s just so slow, no Rhythm is even possible. There are teams of five and even six on the course at 5pm on Saturday. I stopped playing at hole four because of it. All of the reviews about slow play are true. Maybe worse when I stopped at the clubhouse to get a bucket to at least go to the range, they didn’t even seem surprised.

They redid some of the tee boxes, added sprinklers to the fairways, so it's a work in progress. Greens were in good shape.

Well taken care of course, priced well for what I would compare to many other country club courses I’ve golfed. Personally I enjoyed the back 9 much more, but hole 4/5 are gorgeous.

Course is under construction. Fairways are bare and green are hard They also let groups of 5 people play so it slows play. Would not recommend until course repairs are completed. Pro shop is very nice with lots of gear available

Terrible experience. Had to play with fairways that had dirt lines in them because we couldn’t do better on growing grass. Also, had people on hole 18 yelling with a megaphone in your back swing. Simply just disrespectful. No chance this can be $330
