In summary

The Gay Brewer Jr. Course at Picadome receives praise for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout with tree-lined fairways, and friendly clubhouse staff. The addition of new pickleball courts is also appreciated by visitors. However, some golfers express concerns about slow pace of play, high tee fees, parking issues, and occasional customer service challenges.

I play there with some regularity. The fairways and greens are in great shape for early spring. The tee boxes are a bit rough.

Really like the course; however, my most recent visit was to play on the newly built pickleball courts. They have four right next to the clubhouse. I will return. Great courts. Good placement to help block out cross wind.

Has improved since city took it over but could use a little more TLC. Really gorgeous spots on this course but greens could hold a little better. Greens were running nice and fast over weekend. Overall I enjoy playing Picadome. There are some really cool holes on the course. There are spots where you can see the blue building downtown and spots where it seems you're out in the middle of a forest in the country

An outstanding day a Picadome. From the friendly folks in the clubhouse to the well maintained course and greens, I was impressed. The greens were small and fast which was exactly the challenge I was looking for. 18 holes in 3 hours, decent rental clubs, and a veteran discount... What's not to like? Next time I'm in town I'll definitely be back. Thanks Picadome!

I know it’s almost pointless to leave a review of picadome. But with the increase in price over the past couple years something needs to be said. This course is terrible, not so much due to the condition of the course (which isn’t good either). But, because of the type of golfers that play here and the staff. The staff clearly could care less about the courses reputation. I’d like to say that this course is suited for “high handicaps” but even that would be generous. The players that come here aren’t concerned about how low they can shoot through 18 holes. Instead, they are more concerned abou…

Course is in very good shape. It's an old-school golf course with mature trees lining nearly every fairway. Rough is tough and sometimes long enough to lose a ball in. Keep it in the fairway and it very scoreable.

I live next to this golf course and have tried to be a good neighbor. Unfortunately they have not shared that sentiment. Today was trash day. The first time I came home, I caught a truck parking right in front of my trash receptacles - I explained the situation, so he moved. Then I came out an hour later to find a white Honda parked in front of my trash and recycling. Thankfully, my trash had been picked up, but not my recycling. I called waste management, they had already been by - so I called the golf course. I spoke with a man named Chris, I told him that I try very hard to be a good neighb…

Great course. Well maintained and challenging. Clubhouse and restrooms were clean. Lots of parking for a golf course in the middle of Lexington.

Course was okay, but besides feeling like a free for all for hitting space and having to constantly keep the windshield up. Almost got hit 3 times. The course itself has every hole almost on top of each other. Parking was so bad and tee fees high for what the course really is. Idt ill be back to play.

Fun place to play. There are many tree-lined and tight fairways. Small greens that rolled true and fast...despite a lot of play (ball marks).

Didn't get to play. Parking is terrible, no directions given on where to park or go to. We were late for our tee time and I called to explain the situation but it went straight to voice mail. When we arrived the 3 people who were behind the counter, who couldn't answer a phone, said there was nothing they could do, we would have to wait for a no show or leave.
