What People Say

In summary

Meadowbrook Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability and suitability for practicing short game skills, with a friendly staff and a compact, walkable layout. The course is particularly popular among beginners and those looking for a quick round, featuring mostly par 3 holes with one par 4. However, some visitors have noted maintenance issues, particularly with the greens, and there are concerns about outdated or incorrect information on their website and social media.

Don’t really understand the point of having an updated website and Facebook that shows incorrect information. If you post in the morning that you’re going to be open and decide you need to close it may be a good idea to communicate that with golfers before they come all the way out and just waste their time.

Great concept. Great yardage. Great location. Having said that; it’s the worst maintained golf course I have ever been on. The weeds on the greens say it all.

While the worker was very nice and gave us a refund, the greens and "fairways" were unplayable. You can barely putt due to crab grass and divots all over the greens, and there were no fairways. If you wanted to tee off you wouldn't be able to, as all the boxes are just turf matts. For $50 this is a very not maintained course, and the push carts had no strap or place for your score card. We left after hole 1, because I wouldn't even call it much of a course and overpriced.

While this is definitely not a fancy course there are a few things that give me reasons to rate it well. First and foremost being a city course it is very affordable at around $13 a round. It's only a Par 3 course with one Par 4 at hole 15. Many of the holes are around 100 yards give or take 10yrds. I have found this makes it perfect for a Sunday Bag and a few irons to practice your short game. The second reason is it is easy to get on somewhat last minute and you can easily finish a round in under 2 hrs. This can be a fun course when you have a few hrs and is also great if you are teaching so…

Great short course all par 3 with 1 par 4. Compact, hilly, not crowded. Made it through in just over 3 hours. Great staff.

Always a fun place to play and now started to take my daughter, they really could use some work on the putting greens. Crab grass is growing everywhere and that shouldn't happen.

Great little Par 3. You can't even buy a large bucket of balls for $12 at some of the driving ranges so why not go play a round and work on that short game.

Pleasant walking par 3 course. The tollys do not always fit, so I'd advise investing in your own. Great pace with beautiful design. There are lots of fun shots that may pose a new challenge if you're used to playing longer courses.

Great course to work on your short game and get some steps in at. Greens could use a little TLC but still a great place to play a cheap round.

This course is super compact but thats what you can expect from a par 3. There is always a *slight* chance that you will murder someone but that just adds to the excitement. Great for anyone wanting to get into the game or veterans wanting to sharpen their short game. You cannot find a friendlier staff as they know me by name and talk about my round afterward. Lots of fun and not a high price tag. I have nothing but good things to say about this course. Definitely try it out if you haven't.

Nice little par 3 golf course. Fun way to kill an couple hours if you don't have time to get a full round in. Great for working on your iron game. This is a state owned par 3 course, so of course you get what you pay for. Greens are usually playable and course is pretty well maintained. Would recommend for beginners or anyone who doesn't have 3 hours to play. Usually takes me about 1 hour 45 minutes to play a round alone.
