This was a fun, relatively easy course. We are only a couple of years into golfing, so we are not at PGA level, but this was a fun course for us. Watch out for the geese as I was so close to taking out a few. Oops. The staff was very friendly and offer a small snack bar. Overall, would golf here again!

Great course. Minimal snack options at the clubhouse. Plenty of great carts to rent. No gps on the carts but they drive well and the paths are in good condition. A must play course in Lexington.

What a joyful course! I'm giving this municipal course a five-star rating with the hope that those who read this review understand that there is no sense comparing such a course to a club. The greens have some marks that the elderly and wealthy leave. But they roll fast and smooth. The layout is leisurely and scenic. Although not challenging, this course will make for an entertaining morning for anyone. The staff is patient and accommodating. The range is inexpensive and well-maintained. Highlight: hole 7 This par 4 plays the tee shot over a small pond if you play from either the tips or th…

Pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course even after all the rain and changes in temperatures. Fall golf is great with the changing leaves just try not to lose your ball. Keep up the good work!

Lakeside golf course is a nice 18 hole golf course. The course itself is well-maintained and The Rock and trees are not too difficult to navigate. It is aesthetically pleasing and it makes a round of golf enjoyable no matter what the score. The clubhouses simple but it has everything that you would expect, food, drinks, chairs, golf equipment and well maintained golf carts. It is not too expensive and it has lots of parking.

Solid little course for a city track.... Like most courses keep it in the fairway and it'll play pretty easy, but get it off line and especially in the wrong places and pitching out and making big numbers can be around the corner, played it last in late July and the greens we're absolutely awesome!!! Very surprised to see how well they rolled plus they were pretty quick, fairways a little rough and the rough was think and very tough!! Great time to play this course, strongly recommend playing, enjoy

I’ve been playing this course for a few years. It’s in generally good shape and the greens are fast compared to other municipal courses.

Really enjoy this course. Love that there’s a driving range! I’m still a beginner but I’ve found that this has been a great place for newbies and more skilled players alike.

Fun course but if you’re alone good luck. So many old people and people pushing their clubs or carrying. Way slooooow paced

Beautiful course! We loved it. Staff was very friendly, course was well kept. The fairways and greens were very nice. We didn’t encounter a single other golfer when we went out. Would go back!

This is an exceptional course for the money! The greens are nice, and fairways are in great shape. AND they have new golf carts!! Appreciate that! All of the staff are awesome as well! Very helpful. Thanks to Misty for helping a bad day turn into a good day! I had forgotten my clubs - ugh! But they have rental clubs and it worked out well.

Really nice municipal golf course. Challenging but not super hard. Hardest hole on the course is number 18. You can finish the round with a high score if you’re not careful.
