Shady Brook Golf Club

The course is in rough shape, can be very hard to putt. It is however a great place to go to learn the mechanics of the game, the owner and his family are very nice! The price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this course if you are looking to just go out and have some fun on a beautiful day.

Pros: owners are nice, prices are good, fairways and tee boxes were maintained, no uniform required, allowed my wife to ride with me as a guest, great for normals to come out and have fun playing golf. Cons: some of the greens are bare/choppy, golf cart had a low tire. Overall: 4/5, will be back.

I have played this course for the last 17 years and the past 2 years i just havent been satisfied. I know the owners are working really hard trying to do the work by themselves but a golf course takes a lot more man power and work. After what i saw today maybe its time to turn the course into a cow pasture. I wish the owners the best of luck but for $17.00 for 9 holes at 2pm dont depend on business.

The folks around Shadybrook are the kindest people in the world and even though it is not a five star professional golf club it is so reasonable in price for folks who don’t want to pay $50 like they do in Lexington to pay a round of golf. The golf Course may be a little bumpy but the scenery is beautiful and that makes up for a lot of things would encourage everybody to give this a try

Has to be the best golf course for the price. 18 holes cart included $15 can’t beat it. The fairway is the same cut as the greens. Very very beautiful!!!

Pitiful. Just pitiful. Tee boxes were mostly dirt. Greens appeared to have not been mowed in weeks. Several greens had significant (like 1/3 of the green) dead spots. Don't waste your money now. Sadly, this course used to be very well maintained.

I used to play here 10 or 15 yrs ago and it was a nive place for beginners. But in the last recent yrs it has gone very down hill. Poorly maintained all the way around. I dont think the owner even knows its open. But 27$ you are wasting your monet

Goat ranch. Yes it is 15 dollars but that should tell you all you need to know about the condition of the course. Dumpster fire!!

This used to be a really cute golf course, it is not being maintained. Don't waste your time.

Not a great course as far as up keep but for the price it's nice

Small course, not crowded. Only 9 holes.

fairways were overgrown and poorly mowed to the point where i lost several balls in the fairway due to the mowed grass.
