Well maintained challenging course. Has 3 different 9 hole courses. Staff is exceptionally friendly. Franklin can rock with event organization. In high season golf is a little pricey...to be expected of a country club. Food is marvelous.

Snapper with shrimp blackened was amazing and fish n chips with snapper looked great too. Very reasonable prices for the area too. Pretty views and fun aptnosphere.

Venice Area Chamber of Commerce Women Empowering Women Event. This event was set up nicely in and catered by Pelican Point. What a beautiful facility! The food was pretty good and someone made sure we had good healthy choices! The staff worked to keep us comfortable during our long day of inspiring speakers. My only suggestion would be to leave a picture of water on the tables and keep those filled. The staff’s was courteous and careful to not be interrupting the speakers.

Good practice area with range balls included with round. Excellent pace of play but I had an early tee time and the two members I played with said it was unusually fast play. I played Preserve/Hatchet Creek courses. Both were in terrific condition and the greens were nice. The Preserve is mostly lined with houses, but the Hatchet Creek course has a few holes which feel more like you are just on a golf course and not playing in a planned community. Saw lots of beautiful wildlife on the Hatchet Creek course too. I enjoyed it, but for the price I’d rather drive the extra 20 min and play Heron Cre…

Enjoyable day - Nice layout - Great overall conditions. Greens are in fantastic shape. Need better signs (perhaps a few arrows painted on the paths?) especially between the different nines.

I lived in pelican point over 13 years. Pelican point has the usual HOA shenanigans going on, and usual restrictive rules. No big deal. Pelican Pointe homes are all tightly packed together, so you will know your neighbor rather well... Perhaps better than you want to. Food served at the clubhouse, restaurant, special events... IS AVERGAGE, AT BEST...You have been warned! The golf course is allegedly above average... That's what the golfers tell me. I have just recently moved to Myakka Valley Ranches... 6 acres of good land! I will never go back! Pelican point is nice, if you like tract-st…

We play at pelican point frequently. Most of the time the staff at the Pro shop are super nice, welcoming and professional. Today was the complete opposite of that Hayden, we played The course was super backed up and we got to the turn on the second half of the course and realized that we were short on time and we called the pro shop to ask for a rain check.. Hayden was on the phone and said sure thing just come on in. We’ll take care of you…. upon arriving at the pro shop, he proceeded to tell us “ we know that you were not at the hole that you said you were based on our starter and teetimes…

Horrible place to live , especially if you have children. Very nosey neighbors, they complain to HOA about everything. They do NOT like kids or kids of color . Do NOT recommend living here .
