In summary

Venice East Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, well-maintained grounds, and suitability for practicing short games, particularly with its par 3 layout. The course is described as a good value for beginners and families, with a convenient driving range. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the condition of the greens and note issues with chemical spraying and course management policies, which detract from the overall experience for some players.

Venice East was a great golf course! We are visiting from Tennessee and we booked an 8:30 tee time here (18 + cart). Our flight got delayed the night prior and we were running on very little sleep so we accidentally rolled in at like 8:26 so I acknowledged the situation and made light of it as best I could and the staff + starter were very kind about it as well. So, be nice and they'll be nice to you! The grounds are well kept. It is primarily a par 3, the back 9 have some longer holes. You honestly have to be pretty careful not to hit into other players and not to BE hit by other players as…

This review is for the Venice East Driving Range. There wasn’t a google page for it. My husband and I took our son there! We had a blast. The cost is $10 for a bucket balls. (I forgot to take a picture of the bucket) there were probably 50 balls. The area is clean. There are restrooms and a water fountain.

Easy access in Venice. Fun place to hit a few balls. Just don't crack my balls

This executive course is in nice condition. The back nine is preferable to the longer hitters. Narrow course with sand traps, trees, and water as hazards. The employees were all friendly and extremely helpful. My uncle and I, both lefties got teamed up with another golfer. Who also was a lefty. I felt the earth's axle tilt. On this hole I hit with my driver and putted a 6 foot shot for the birdie. In preparation of a tee time for Sunday I utilized their driving range. I called the Club House for questions i had because i have never used their driving range before. I was pleasantly informed how…

Not worth the money. This is basically a par 3 course, and one poorly maintained on top of that. They recently increased prices, so in my opinion you can find better value elsewhere, at a real golf course.

Visiting from Canada and had the most fun playing the back 9. We had to call to ask for directions as maps took us to the wrong entrance and the lady at the front desk was SO nice about it and accommodating. Will be back to play 18 on our next trip!

The greens are an absolute embarrassment....pretty much unputtable. That is a shame because otherwise the course decent. Would never go back unless the greens were redone...

My wife and I been playing this course fo 10 years, I am really disappointed in the direction this course is going! No signs out when chemicals are sprayed on greens, no signs when greens aren't cut! The staff is not freindly, some of the people who work there are way to serious about there job!

I couldn’t play golf for a year due to an injury. So I felt a little intimidated going into the office, feeling golf inadequate. Well the staff could not be more friendly. Offering me water, a price list, answering any questions that I had. I went to the driving range. Even there everyone was so friendly and helpful. I love this place. It gave me inspiration to pursue golf again. Thank you so much!

Customer for over 3 years and nothing but bad experiences every time. This time I'm done for good. Every time I've golfed it has been with my 11 year old son. Every time I go in the club house I'm chastised for one thing or another. Either telling me that I need a tee time when the course is empty, or telling me to book a tee time online, only to be told that nobody books online and that I should only call for a tee time. On our most recent visit I booked a tee time for 9:40am on a Wednesday only to be met with hostility when I arrived, claiming that I should of called in my tee time instead o…

This place has it all. Horrible conditions embarrassingly horrendous greens, and if you're not a member they look at you like what are you doing here......
