In summary

Oak Lake Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and friendly staff, offering an enjoyable experience at reasonable rates. The course features a mix of open and tight holes, with some players noting the prevalence of blind shots and the need for strategic play. However, there are occasional concerns about the condition of the fairways, bunkers, and amenities, as well as the course's suitability for all skill levels.

The greens were in good shape! The fairways could have been a bit better, but I used a Groupon with a great price so I am not complaining. Also, the bunkers are being redone.

Nice course for the area. Open front, tight back 9. Clubhouse could be updated. Greens really nice shape, tight and quick. So many blind shots is my biggest complaint. If you aren't hitting fairways it can take time to find your ball

Played 9 holes. It is early in the season to play. Greens did need some cleaning but still playable. Like l said it is early for play. Golf courses just opening. Had a good time. Will play there again. Affordable.

7/2 course was wet, but playable. Wide open front , with much tighter back. Numerous blind shots, so go up and take a look. Don't need driver on every par 4 or 5. Greens medium fast.

Excellent public course: great staff, great challenge, great rate. Good mix of hole lengths, with all shots requiring thought and precision. Course is maintained very well, especially the greens

Good rate on golfnow. Course was empty. Not women friendly course only 245 yards different from the men's tees. A lot of blind shots on the back.. The first cut off all fairways TOO THICK.

This was my home course back in the day (45 years ago - only 9 holes then!). Learned to golf here. Saw that it was for sale - hope it goes to a good owner. Looked on Google maps and saw that still had that cow pasture along the 9th - don't hook it or you had to deal with a herd of cows

So me and my son attempted to golf here today and they refused us entry to the course because he is young and they are busy. We have golfed at countless golf courses and I have never had or seen this happen. They normally just tell the ppl after us to play thru. They wonder why golf is a dyeing sport. How do they expect the next generation to enjoy this sport if they send them away crying. Congrats oak lake you are what's wrong with society

Great local course. Reasonable rates. Just get a cart though as the course is quite hilly.

Very poor example of a golf course. Sand traps are overgrown with crab grass. Poor layout on the back nine.

Not a bad course. Back 9 is tight. Course can be buggy
