In summary

The Links at Spring Church receives praise for its enjoyable and well-designed layout, featuring a mix of wooded and open holes with challenging water hazards. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's current condition, citing issues with fairways, greens, and tee boxes, which detract from the overall experience. Additionally, some golfers report slow pace of play and occasional dissatisfaction with staff interactions.

The course conditions appear as if there is very limited turf maintenance happening. The tee boxes are burned out, the fairways are cracked and burned out, and the greens are spotty. Website pictures are false advertising or memories of a better time. It is a shame because the layout is really good. The front nine is tighter with trees, the back nine is more open links style. The pace on Friday morning was 5 hours because two senior foursomes wouldn’t let twosomes play through.

This place was a favorite course of mine growing up, it was always in pristine condition and very well maintained. I’m not sure what happened. You will have better fairway shots in your front yard. It’s a shame. They should warn people about the course conditions before taking their money.

Played today, worst condition of any course in the area. Tee box and greens full of large cracks. Like there was an earthquake. Virtually no grass anywhere except for crabgrass. They should leave a hammer on the tee boxes to pound in your tees. You can't take a divot ground is so hard. It was like playing on a parking lot. Stay away this year.

Played a scramble here with some friends. We were coming from Pittsburgh so it was a bit of a drive, but we all really liked it. Well designed course that is fairly open with well placed water hazards.

*Note* I am not over critical and I always give places a chance and never judge course conditions during the middle of summer when there's little to no rain. First off I will say everyone up there is very nice, I've never had a bad encounter with the staff for the times I've played there. This review starts last year, we played here a few times and the course was rough, the greens were rough, tee boxes were rough, and the bunkers were concrete. I shrugged it off and chalked it up to the heat and the lack of rain we got, I didn't say anything bad or good about it. Fast forward to this late spri…

Played there 9-3-2025. They should have paid us to play there. TERRIBLE conditions, will never play there again. Made us pay the full rate. Should shut the course down. Only thing green on the course was crabgrass.

Not sure I have ever encountered worse fairway conditions on a golf course. Legitimately 70% of the fairways do not have grass. Not to mention every green was incredibly bumpy with an unfixed ball mark on every line and at least one giant dead spot. Been coming here one to two times a year for an over decade, never seen the conditions close to this bad. $50 was a horrible value, which is a shame because the layout is quite fun. Lastly they didn’t even have the blue tees out on the course, every tee was way up where it played <6000 yards. Inexcusable.

This used to be an awesome track. Course fairways were a mess and haven't been watered. Greens were pock marked and bumpy the entire round. No ranger on course to promote pace of play, players in front of us were jumping in different groups and slow. Just not a great experience from what used to be a fantastic track.

First time playing this golf club. It’s a great layout for me. Lots of interesting holes and requires some ability to make a good golf shot when needed. Staff was friendly. Some fairways had some issues but probably due to recent weather. Greens in good shape with some tricky reads. Pace of play was great as we finished right at 4 hours. We all really enjoyed it and plan to be back.

Fun course and is in good condition. The starter was very annoying. He tried to rush us and push us out early as soon as we checked in 25 minutes before. Our foursome was off the 1st tee box 5 minutes before our tee time, he watched all of our shots and we were reminded multiple times that we needed to play fast. Not an enjoyable way to start your Saturday round.

The course was in terrible shape, never saw it like that before, fairways mostly crabgrass, one was so dried out it was crunchy!
