In summary

Meadowink Golf Course receives praise for its challenging and interesting layout, well-maintained greens, and helpful staff. However, many visitors express concerns about the high cost relative to the course's condition, with frequent mentions of slow play, overbooking, and poorly maintained fairways and tee boxes. While some appreciate the overall experience and amenities, others feel there are better value options available nearby.

My buddies and I decided to try a new place to golf so we decided to travel an hour and 15 minutes away from my house to Meadowink. I read the reviews beforehand and chose to try it anyway. Let me say, the reviews are accurate. We made a 12:15pm T-time. Got there early but they were so backed up so we didn't get out til 1pm. The course is poorly designed. A lot of hills and blind spots. Cannot see the golfers ahead of you so you're constantly driving up to see where they're at before you hit. The course itself is very tore up. The T boxes were a joke as you can see in my picture. Everyone was…

The course was fine, lots of blind shots like other reviews mentioned. Greens we're not baked out and rolled acceptably. Tight fairways and longish rough. Bring lots of balls. Play was slow on the back but they stack the tee sheet. Decent for 50 bucks(cart included) on a weekday. Again bring lots of balls

Beautiful course with interesting and challenging holes. The staff is super helpful and encouraging - they even looked at my driver to help fix a serious slice. Reasonably priced!

One of my new favorite courses in the area. The pace of play was great. The grounds were in very good shape. My only complaint is there are few blind holes that could use a bell instead of driving up to see if group is finished. Other than that I really enjoyed my round. Will definitely be back there this year.

Be aware, if you book a later tee time and they allow you to pay for 18 holes, they want you off the course before dusk. Probably to get home earlier! Apparently it’s a “safety hazard” but yet they don’t offer a refund! Why do you allow tee times after 5:30pm when it takes 4+ hours to play a round??!! The one guy walked up to the tee on 11 when we were hitting, while it was plenty light out, but he wanted us to go in….lol. We played 4 more holes before dark, when we came back to the clubhouse. The fairways are garbage, they charge $54 for 18 holes, which is already ridiculous, and then you get…

The only enjoyable takeaway from today's round were the greens. They rolled well for October golf but that's where the positives end. Despite their condition, there is absolutely no reason 18 holes riding on a Saturday should be $69, especially when course conditions required cartpath only play. The fairways were grown out to 1" or longer throughout the course and covered in heavy, wet grass clippings. The fairways resembled a normal 1st cut of rough. Immediately off the fairways, the rough was unecessarily deep. I lost 4 balls in todays round in grass that was only 2-3 yards off the fairway c…

I am genuinely appalled that I need to leave this review. However, I feel obligated to warn other golfers playing in Western Pennsylvania. This course is by far the most overpriced course in Western Pennsylvania. The rough is near unplayable probably due to the fact that it looks like it has not been cut in a over two weeks. The greens are spotted and covered in loads of debris. Two years ago, this course was under $60. This course has gone downhill exponentially and is now charging almost $70 on weekends. Do yourself a favor and drive 30 seconds down the road to MGC and play a better course…

It’s the people that run this place and the people that play here. I probably play 80 rounds a year and this was by for the worst place. I’ve played all year. When they pair you up with someone else before you’ve even started because the course is running behind yet it’s your fault to make up for the slow play ahead of you. Makes absolutely no sense. How about you say something to the 80-year-old group before ahead of us who’s playing four balls apiece And drives to every green before they tee off. Typical Old and entitled arrogant people.

Do not waste your time or money. $70 to play 18 at 2:40 PM, takes almost 3 hours to play 9 holes. 3 groups on every tee box, no ranger in sight

Mid-March golf was Awesome! Course was in good shape! But the best part was in the clubhouse afterwards: this is just about the frostiest and most expertly poured beer I have ever had in my lifetime! Bravo!

$63 dollars to play this course. What a joke. Go down the road it's nicer and less expensive. Green keeper followed us to every hole cutting the greens. Never once cut the engine or throttled the mower down. Supposedly a relaxing game. Sure wasn't ruined golf for me and my son.

It’s a decent course overall, but $60 is steep especially for how they manage golfers. The problem is with management for how they space out golfers approximately 4 minutes apart. my buddy and I played a round of 18 in just around 5 hours, which is ungodly slow. We had an 8:40am tee time, and upon checking in, the clerk looked at us like he knew he was overbooked, but had an unplanned visitor out of us as if we were the problem with a scheduled booking. Get out there and are constantly waiting behind two foursome groups. No group of 4 is playing a hole in 4 minutes as the spacing would indic…
