Irwin Country Club is praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, with a challenging layout that caters to various skill levels. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and the recent improvements under new ownership have been well-received. However, some visitors have noted issues such as a slow pace of play and certain rules that may be seen as restrictive, along with mixed opinions on the clubhouse's condition.

My family has played here for years. It has sloping fairways with a lot of challenges. I find the front nine a little easier to play than the back nine. The greens are in great shape. The cost is very reasonable. I highly recommend this course.

Great pricing for a round of 9 or 18 holes. Recent change in ownership brought in positive/needed updates to the clubhouse/pro shop this year- this course is definitely improving and is a great golfing spot for various levels of experience.

Xavier brought Aaron to check on membership rates. They discussed politics, Norwin football and of course the updates to the golf course. The boys had a great time!

The new owners are amazing. Kristen and Alan do such a good job managing everything swiftly and fairly. The food at the clubhouse has stepped up their games and the golf course is great to practice on!

Friendly staff and love the snacks at C and E snack shack. If you like to sit and socialize with your buddies the clubhouse is the place to be after a game of golf on the course! Golf course on pristine grounds and owners really enjoy giving a great experience to those who love golfing!

Historic Irwin County Club ("ICC") is a beautiful public course located in the foothills of Irwin, PA. This course is always impeccably maintained and the clubhouse/bar/kitchen staff are always welcoming and accommodating. My friends and I (usually 8-16 of us on any given weekend) often seek ICC as our first choice and go-to golf course to book a tee time. While this is a shorter track, the greens and fairways at ICC are always in excellent condition. In fact, the difficulty of the greens (particularly hole #2, #11, #12, #18) will challenge even the most seasoned short-game specialists. No ma…

very old place. They didn't do too bad last year keeping the greens ok through the drought. This place is deceptively difficult for me. If you can't keep it on the fairway, this place will frustrate you even further challenging even the best fairway hitters with blind shots and deceptively short or long shots. The greens aren't too bad, but the overall layout of the course is such that walking can be a chore. There are a couple spots where you have to watch for flying balls too. The clubhouse is very old, and if you want to stop for a beer and food after, best to look elsewhere as this place i…

My place of zen at 630am when I'm the only one there. Have grown up playing here... Will always play here. Greens are ALWAYS in supreme shape for being in a low wet area. Grounds crew does more work on this tiny place than a few of the pricier courses around. I'm treated like gold. People see the yardage and smirk---then those same people can't break 80 lol... Weird. Ball must still be hit in the right place. Love my Irwin County Club!

Nice course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are in nice shape. Many other local courses have fared far worse in the dry, hot weather this year. There are a couple of quite challenging holes (#5 comes to mind). The staff is super friendly and helpful. This has become one of my go-to courses and I look forward to playing there some more.

Nice short but challenging course. The back 9 has some fun holes with elevation changes. The snack bar is a bit dated and could use a remodel. Will play again.
