Monticello Country Club

Average municipal 9 hole course. Greens are. Wry nice and medium/fast. On some tee boxes there is no market. Fairways are ok, but a lot of brown spots and weed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Price ok.

It's a pitty they kicked the cows off no food pay for membership but still have to pay $8 cart a day there membership is little back wards compared to other golf course And bad maintenance bumpey better hold on tight

Club has been going down hill for the past few yrs now. They've even raised the prices which has hurt them even more. They filled in the great pool they once had which people here still don't understand but oh well. In time when they sit around wondering why things failed there they can look back at all the terrible decisions they made that was responsible for the demise of the club. Thank God I was able to enjoy it when it was a great club. High dive at the pool and the yearly membership wasn't too expensive. Just enough to help keep the riff raft out. Played here since I was a kid. I was lucky enough to have been a member here back when they had a nice pool and a high dive! Those are a thing of the past these days. Too many sissy people looking for any reason at all to sue somebody all because they REFUSE to pay attention and follow rules.

Friendly people. Really nice course. Just wish they had more par 3s and cheaper cart fees.
