In summary

Lakewood Country Club is frequently praised for its friendly and professional staff, well-maintained greens, and enjoyable course layout, especially the back nine. The club offers various amenities, including a driving range, putting green, and a well-stocked Pro Shop, all at reasonable prices. This is another hidden gem golf course along the Cumberland Parkway of Kentucky. The course is in good condition, pace of play was great. The front nine is nice & fun but the back 9 is AMAZING (especially the last 4 holes)!! Staff are super friendly & professional. Katie Lee is phenomenal! $40 for 18 with a cart on this course is more than fair . The concessions are tasty and very reasonably priced. 6 Stars! Will be playing here again asap!

I have a lifetime membership at this course. Always feel like home whenever I go here. They also have a driving range and putting green to work on your game before hitting the course.

Great golf course in Russell Springs. Open to tourists as well as members. Currently only $30 to play if you are visiting from outside the county. Well stocked Pro Shop as well as food and adult beverages.

Only giving this 1 star because zero is not an option, and at least the people in the clubhouse are nice. First of all, charging almost $140 for 2 people to play this course, is the most ridiculous thing I've ever witnessed. THEN to find the course in poor condition...patchy grass, cart paths falling apart, and greens patched all over. Been coming to this course for 20 years. Will not return. And will post this ridiculous pricing on every online platform possible...just a sad time to not come back to this course because of pricing (and it's obviously not being spent on the course!)

Tee boxes were in terrible shape. More bare ground than grass. No markers for blue, white, gold tees on any hole. Fairways were mostly bare very little grass. Greens were OK. Way overpriced for the condition of the course.

Found this on our way to Lake Cumberland State Park. Reasonably priced. Greens and fairways are in fantastic condition for mid August. Only had time for 9 holes. Will make a trip back to play the entire course. Friendly staff.

Had a good experience. Real laid back atmosphere and the front 9 was in really good shape. I think they are trying to reseed the back 9 and you could tell a difference but the greens were in good shape and the layout is fun. I will be back.

A well maintained golf course with a full line pro shop and snack bar, driving range and large practice putting green. Cart rentals are also available, and a full size pool. With a friendly and knowledgable staff Lakewoods has always set the standard for a great golfing experience for those visiting the Lake Cumberland Region or with an affordable annual membership for locals within Russell County.
