In summary

Eagles Nest Country Club is frequently praised for its beautiful course layout, friendly staff, and well-maintained greens, making it a popular choice among golfers. The practice facilities are noted as top-notch, and the course offers a challenging experience with its hills and valleys. However, some visitors have raised concerns about the condition of the fairways, the reliability of golf carts, and the lack of potable water on the course. Additionally, customer service experiences have been mixed, with some potential members feeling unwelcome.

Eagle's nest is a decent course with mediocre fairways and lightning fast greens. The course is well laid out and makes good use of the hills and valleys around Somerset. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The carts were simply atrocious. One cart died on the 5th hole, the other 3 carts in our group didn't have functioning brakes (brakes are a necessity on this course). The parking brakes didn't work and we often had to leave the carts resting against the curb, or even trees, to prevent them from rolling away. There was no potable water on the course and no drinking fountains availabl…

I’m new to the Area and was looking to test a few courses out so I called Eagles Nest.I asked if I could come try the range and they told me NO. I was wanting to get a feel for the course but with that type of treatment to a potential member I passed and decided to become a member at General Burnside. While I was playing a scramble this past Wednesday other members told me they have received the same treatment by Eagles Nest. Can’t really rate anything other then customer service but for that I give 1 ⭐️

Nice golf course practice area is topnotch. I was just there for a putting refresher. Tim was a topnotch instructor very professional and helped me work out some bumps in my putting that wasn't supposed to be there.

FYI: Visitors can play on this “Private Course” during the week (M-Fri.). We unfortunately didn’t have the time. I most assuredly will next time we’re down.

Great staff, fantastic golf pro and the fairways and greens are drastically improved today over what they were a year ago when we started playing at Eagle’s Nest.Highly recommend!

Great course with amazing fairways. Under repair right now with bunkers being mostly mud and dirt, but not bad enough to not play out of.

Course was in OK shape. Greens were good and fast...fairways were rough in spots. Ponds could use some aeration. Be ready for some hills!

Another goat ranch, no grass in the fairways and nice but very firm greens. Way overrated and not worth the $. Gen Burnside blows this course away!

Nice place to golf. Unfortunately weather was not on our side. I would love to play it again on a nice day!
