In summary

The Pines at Lindsey Wilson is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course offers a mix of challenging and easy holes, and the setting is often described as peaceful with beautiful views. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play, particularly due to college team practices, and occasional maintenance disruptions, which have affected their overall experience.

First off I want to start by saying that the course manager Dawson(sp?) is a genuinely good person and helpful. Unfortunately that is where it pretty much ends. We arrived and teed off as a foursome at approximately 10:50 central playing best ball. At 2pm we were making the turn onto 10. The reason for the long time is that apparently it was Lindsey Wilson College Golf Team qualifying day (we were never told this). 2 of our group teed off on 10 and then here comes kids walking by their bags and proceeded to start hitting from the fairway about 150 yds. in front of us. We went to the clubhouse…

First time playing there (from out of town). Fun course and very friendly folks working there. The greens were just aerated but still in good shape. The price was great for such a decent course. Will definitely be back.

Shot a new PB on this round! Greens on very good condition with only a few spots still healing from the summer. Fairways in great condition. It was just me, so pace of play not an issue. I was intermixed with a scramble but no issues there and I played through without a problem. The Pines has a great price point end enough challenges to keep it interesting!

Well....I found heaven. The view is spectacular, the enviroment is peaceful and the staff and restaurant owner are the down to earth genuinely friendly people that don't seem to exist anymore. The food is so reasonably priced and excellently prepared....I couldn't believe that a place like this exist and I hadn't heard about it. You can play a round of golf while you eat outside or take a should of beef /ribs home with you. There's an all you can eat salad bar with good meat to side with. I see this place becoming a chain....just hope they stay the same. No changes..this is my #1 favorite in K…

Played this morning and everyone and everything was great. The course was in amazing shape. Been atleast 2-3 years since my last round there! Fairway’s fantastic green’s lightning fast. Nice little track.

Played spring of 2023. Greens were good, but aerated, just that time of the season. Some fairways were great, some were still growing in with new grass. It should be beautiful this summer. Bunkers still needed work, but we played in March, so that is to be expected.

No communication that the greens would be unplayable. Had pulled pins off the greens on the front and had just dumped sand on the back. Absolutely horrible service and standards!

Went to Rerun's at the Pines for breakfast. The food was very good and the service was amazing. Prices are reasonable, and you get a god portion of food. Not many people k ow about it, and you should try it.

If you like kids running all over the course playing in groups of five or six this is the place for you. Had to yell at teenagers for stopping in front of us to fish out balls in the pond instead of letting our twosome play threw. Will never be back again.

Great lil golf course. Usually pretty reasonable priced. Was $30 w/cart for 18holes, today when we played. Greens looking good and rough was forgiving.

Fun, small course with a driving range. Owned by the local college, so you may find quite a few team members practicing at times, but other times it's like you have the course to yourself. Solid 3 out of 5.
