This is a 55 and over community, so most people living there are almost done with more than half of there life. Death is inevitable and apparently at this place so are there HOA fees! So when the owner of the home passes away and they’re not alive any longer your family must continue paying HOA fees. For services you’re not receiving. It honestly feels like robbery. I felt like I was literally throwing money away each month. And in this economy when the cost of living is already through the roof. I’m not feeling like this is an ideal situation for the elderly. I have lived here for a year and a half, and services like landscaping, etc. are regular, you always feel safe, and the cost of living is inexpensive. I love the clubhouse, the clubs, the trips, the concerts! 👍

Does any one care or concerned about all the walkway lights on 2 hours before dark 6pm or still on at 7am its light out at 530am seems like a lot of waste to me all over ny the west gate 208 / 15 / 16 / 423/ 402 etc behind upper deck if no one wants to get up to check maybe security in there dashing around could jot down the areas in question .might be worth a few bucks to save a lot fyi the pond water is too warm all the aeration is a waste algea algea / even ghe geese dont like it.but still here oh well

I have been here a few months. I moved here from another condo community. I thought being a 55+ community it would have been better. Just like every other community you have a lot of cigarette and pot smoking neighbors. Rude neighbors slamming their car doors and playing loud music as they drive into their parking spot. Neighbors with large vicious dogs and they claim you can't have any dogs over 20lbs. Like every other community, they ignore the rules. I have lived in this community for only 9 months and it’s been a disappointing experience so far. It’s billed as an affordable community and that it is. But I have placed a work order for a simple task and have not been able to get any idea when the work will be done. Isn’t this particularly where some of my HOA fees are to be applied? It’s billed as an active community which is something I am still waiting to experience. When considering this complex make sure you check out and compare it to other communities. Let the buyer beware!

Great place to live the people are all very nice the place is run very well. The pool is resort quality. Everything here is really better than you would expect I couldn't be happier living here.
