This is a nice, generally well kept community. Beware that there are no assigned parking spots--not even for handicapped spots. If you requested a handicapped spot and someone else parks in it, nothing is done--even if that person has a handicapped spot closer to his/her home.

When we wanted to downsize we searched for a community with amenities that included an indoor pool. We searched much of Suffolk County, looking for affordability that would allow us to still enjoy annual traveling. BSL was the winner! We chose a ranch style house, however there are condos, quads, townhouses and large houses. Our large patio faces hole #4 on our 9 hole beautiful walking golf course. Our neighborhood is quiet but if you are looking for activity, there is an abundance of things to do. Go to either of the TWO clubhouses to swim indoors or out, play billiards, Racquetball, use the…

If your looking to move in here and you saw that big sign up front about the property Don't Believe The "Low Taxes" line... Complete Lie !!!! the low taxes are the Older people here that have all kinds of deductions including Veterans ,so they pay Low taxes But everyone else Taxes are high , I have a single family unattached (they all are) I pay $9,800 in taxes NOT including $474.00 a month in HOA fees !!!!!
