In summary

Wyandot Golf Course receives praise for its friendly staff and enjoyable layout, featuring a mix of challenging holes and beautiful scenery. Some visitors appreciate the recent improvements and value for money under new ownership. However, there are recurring criticisms regarding course maintenance issues, such as uneven tee boxes and poor drainage, as well as concerns about customer service, particularly related to course management and pace of play.

New ownership? New Improvements? Total Bait and switch. The course is the same it has been for the last 5-10 years. The Starter/Manager Wendy needs to be let go or confined to a desk job. Her Attitude and rude behavior is terrible management of the course is what’s pushing customers away. I have never seen someone more 2 faced in my life. She will put a smile on her face while also being so on edge ready to pick a argument for just asking a question. Hole 11 is a par 3 with a Tee box so bad you cant even get a level footing. Lets us all hit off a turf mat while the tee box can repair itself…

1STAR REVIEWS? DEBUNKED.. LAID BACK, FAIR GREENS, CLEAN TEE BOXES, TLDR; This course and its staff is underrated for the average public course within 30 miles of this area. Perhaps once upon a time there was a staff member here that was not polite, yet I’ve regulated this course for 6 months now and Every, Single, Time, I am here the staff is 10 stars, the course is maintained well, and the 1 star reviews are debunked. Every, time. I swear you can smell the pompous seething off some of these reviews and you’d think the short bus drove the latter of them to the course. Play Wyandot, 5 star…

Fantastic experience at Wyandot Golf Course! Tom and Holly were incredible — super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They let us try their new breakfast for free since they were testing it out, and later gave us free lunch from their brand-new menu, which was delicious! They even offered fresh cookies because they had something special going on that day. The hospitality was outstanding — everyone there went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. The course itself is a ton of fun with a great mix of unique, challenging holes, beautiful water features, and awesome scene…

Played 18 holes today for the first time at Wyandot and it's definitely my last. The course was pretty rough condition but given the time of year it was expected. I arrived about 20 mins before my 12:30p tee time, was hardly anyone around and it seemed relaxed. I checked in with the young lady at the desk who advised me to tee off whenever, as if there was nothing going on and there was no line at the first hole. My buddy and I ended up teeing off around 12:40p with no starter and no one around. Around hole 4 or 5, near the club house, a lady, seemed to be an employee began yelling across the…

Course is getting better everyday, rough is 3 inches long and adds a little more difficulty. Greens are rolling good and holding approach shots. Come out and enjoy the fun.

Sanded greens. Water drainage problems throughout front nine. Did not play back nine. Tee boxes are at best a mowed spot. Cart paths are not good shape. Not recommended.

Don’t waste your time at this course. The superintendent has a bigger ego than you could ever imagine. The women staff are great but the superintendent was absurd and completely out of line. Prices are going up and quality is going down. Used to be a fun place to play. Witnessed the superintendent screaming at sets of golfers in the parking lot for waiting at holes with 5 people when the course was completely backed up rather than taking action against the set of 3 that were clogging up the whole course. 5 hour round. Go down the road 10 minutes. Better staff, better course, and cheaper prices…

Customer Service is just OK. Had a argument with the ranger because I booked a tee time right before a golf outing and the ranger rushed us as if it was our fault that we booked a tee time so close to an event. Some of the holes having been watered/taken care of in years. A little pricey for a below average golf course in my opinion.

Hate to say it but I will never go back after many years of playing here. The superintendent is more worried about a group of five combining to save time than the group messing around and backing everything up. The groups in front and behind even agreed with our group that a five man scramble saved time!! However, the superintendent does not understand how to properly manage the golf course and takes his anger out on innocent players. Almost forgot to add the fact the superintendent threatened to beat up one of us after telling him we will find a better course for a better price.
