In summary

Bent Tree Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging and enjoyable layout, friendly staff, and a welcoming clubhouse. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues with fairways, bunkers, and greens, which some feel do not justify the current pricing. Additionally, slow pace of play and inadequate practice facilities are noted as areas needing improvement.

Course is not in good shape at all. Greens are littered with divot marks, fairways are dead, and the tee boxes are pretty high. Clubhouse is nice but might be the only positive part of this course. Will not be back.

Donte waste your time or money. Columbus collective/new era courses are the most overpriced and under maintained in the central Ohio area. Such better courses out there at a fraction of the cost.

$67 for a weekend round. For this... Let me help you....DON'T PLAY ANY KEMPERSPORTS COURSES IN OHIO. Don't just don't. And Bent Tree, DO NOT reply with a canned response regarding the 'drought from last year and this year'. Based on the comments, this is an existing issue SINCE 2022 when you begin management. Adapt and Adjust like many of the courses in Central Ohio are doing. Do better. In fact, JUST DO.

Went back to Bent Tree for the first time in 3 years and the recent reviews had me a little nervous. After playing 18 on a Friday mid-day for $50, I think the recent string of bad reviews are overblown. Staff - The pro shop and concession staff were very friendly even with the guy at the front desk flustered because their site was down and couldn't process payments (we paid at the turn). Layout - For north Columbus public golf, Bent tree is challenging but fair and I used every club in my bag. It has good character and makes you think around the course. Course conditions - With the severe l…

Played 10/22/2023. Loved the course layout, and was in great shape for end of season. Really challenging and fun layout for sure. Staff was great and welcoming. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend checking this one out. Beautiful clubhouse as well.

One of my best rounds to date! The course was in rough shape, but central Ohio has been dealing with extreme heat and no rain. Nonetheless, they were taking care of the course. My girlfriend and I love playing here because of how friendly the staff are. The course is fun with a couple challenging holes.

Oof. This review is for the driving range only as I did not play the course. Their “mats” are essentially concrete with minigolf carpet on them. I don’t know why their grass tees weren’t open, but they wouldn’t have been much better. Weeds all over the place. Massive divots taken out. None of the mats had rubber tees sticking out so practicing driver wasn’t possible. 16 dollars for a large bucket of balls to hit off concrete? Y’all are crazy. The putting green was serviceable but had dead grass spots regularly and still remnants of being aerated.

It was in good shape, service was good Great, starter was super nice, just don’t like the course. 3rd time playing it, I play 2 rounds a week and I feel like it just punishes you in all the wrong ways. Originally listed as 2 stars but changed to 4 because it really was in good condition… but I don’t think you could pay me to play it again

Best good mod I ever played. This course was challenging and could use some upgrades but the staff were great and the accommodations were perfect. The course needs some TLC and the cards need to have sand to fix the divots.

Unreal. On the course now. Green's aweful, waiting 20-30 minutes in between some holes. Track itself has some holes that could be challenging and fun. Conditions not good. Take your money and spend it on better golf.

Played in a golf outing on 9/14/24. Took just the one picture but it sums up the course pretty well; it is in atrocious condition. Half the course is dead. Not even grass that has gone dormant, it's dead. From tee to fringe it's just dirt, weeds, and patches of remaining grass. The greens were not that bad but this is not the course it once was. New Era should be ashamed. I'm surprised there is not a class action lawsuit as they are charging nice course prices for a dirt track and it's clear they are not even trying. It's just sad.

This is one of my favorite tracks in the area. It has a great layout that is challenging for good players but still fun for novices. It has a great patio and the pro shop is always stocked!
