In summary

Glenross Golf Club receives praise for its well-maintained course, friendly and attentive staff, and suitability for events such as weddings and parties. The course layout is appreciated for its mix of challenging and forgiving holes, and the picturesque setting adds to its appeal. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of certain fairways and bunkers, as well as concerns about pricing relative to course maintenance and pace of play.

I play this course on a regular basis. The last time was 10/04/2024. Course is EXCELLENT condition considering the severe drought we've been in. Bunkers are actually playable (unlike most public courses for the same price range) and well maintained too. The staff there on Friday were awesome! Gentleman in club house greeted us in a kind and warm manner, the bartender was quick and attentive. She even gave a great recommendation with their cigar selection!

We used Glenross this past weekend for my daughter in laws baby shower. What a great experience! Working with Keri was a joy! Her attention to detail made our day perfect! She was always responsive to my 25 questions I sent her. The food and facility was perfect for our event. Thanks Keri for all your help and making the baby shower so nice! I would recommend Keri and Glenross team for any special occasion!

Well maintained course. At the time we went a lot of other courses were dried out Glenross wasn't. Staff was also very kind and conversational while waiting to tee off for the first hole. The bar at the turn was speedy and got us going on our way

Cool course with many open fairways. Fairways a bit beat up but I did catch it in September, but had a good time, and I played well! super cool staff too. Rental clubs were perfect!

Sand traps aren't in good shape. Fairways have a lot of dead area's. The G. M. acts as if it was a country club. And he has never given our charity group a donation when asked for the last 5 years.

The good - the course design is nice, greens (just slow), the tees, and staff. The bad - most fairways were trash almost unplayable, neighborhood kids just sneaking on, play was slow, and 5 used cigarette butts in the cup holders. Verdict - decent but needs some love to justify the cost. $40 for 9 not worth it.

The course was in good condition, but I felt it was a bit pricey — $44.70 even with a coupon. I think $35–$40 would be more reasonable.

Great golf outing for The Learning Spectrum. Despite the recent fire an amazing Evan was pulled off. Golfers had a great time!

After booking a tee time for the wrong day (completely my fault) showed up for what I thought was our time, didn’t have it in there. They were still able to get us out with a few strings pulled. Super friendly staff (especially Dave) and it was a great round. Greatly appreciated guys!!

Really enjoyed playing even on a cool damp morning. The fairways and greens were in great shape. Greens were challenging. Some sand bunkers still had standing water due to recent weather. Walking this course would be difficult given the space between certain holes. Regardless, my buddy and I were impressed.

One day I’ll birdie hole 4. This is my home course. I play it quite often. I think people underestimate this course often citing the length but I’m here to say, don’t let the length fool you. This course is sneaky difficult at times. It certainly has some shorter par 4’s and some wide, forgiving fairways but it makes up for the difficulty in other ways. Firstly, some of the green contours are pretty crazy. You luck out by them being a bit slow a lot of the time but even then they’re not easy. And if you catch some of them on a fast day then good luck. Plus they’re not friendly with pin place…

We played a 4 hour round and waited on the group ahead of us for about half of the holes only to be told to pick up our pace on the 16th hole. The “pace cart” had no idea what time we tee’d off. He just saw the group in front had cleared. I’m pretty sure most places would love 4 hour rounds. If your goal is to more like a country club, please make sure you’re paying attention to tee times and pace of play before reprimanding guests.
