Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club

During the month of April 2024, I had my first chance to ever be an actual visitor in a golfing country club. I was able to walk through some of the areas with one of my friends who is a member. He treated us to dinner, which was absolutely tasty. The bartender made my drink spectacularly! It was great to see how some of the wealthier individuals spend their time at country clubs. I had an overall great experience there!

Immaculate condition. Good design. Plenty of tee boxes for most golfers. Not a driver on every hole. Fairways are fairly generous off the tee making it a second shot course. Most bunkers are in sight but slightly elevated greens leave you guessing where to leave your approach shot for the best angle to putt. Subtle breaks to the greens. Friendly staff. Nice practice area. Most people would probably rate it a 5 but I reserve that number for places like Muirfield.

The club is decently laid back (not an old school stuffy CC, which is a positive IMO) and very family friendly. You can have an all-inclusive day here - gym, spa, locker room amenities, dining, drinking, golf and pool. If you have kids - you can drop the kids off at Kids Club and enjoy the Grille, golfing or head to the sister-club to enjoy the adult-only pool & swim up bar!

Got a membership recently and have loved every minute we spend there. Golf is fun and challenging, food is tasty, and the club is beautiful

Was visiting the pool area for my grand daughters swim meet. Found the community atmosphere very supportive and friendly. Great choices at the snack bar with excellent service.

We eat at the clubhouse everytime we visit my dad. Food is always good and they have a nice selection. Staff are friendly. They have a lot of young adults working as servers and it is nice to see them gaining some work experience

Great course, great customer service. As usual, I could have played better, but I loved this golf experience!

I enjoyed my workout and the view of the property from the wall of windows. The sunrise or sunset is the most beautiful eye candy! The massage, sauna, pool, shower and hot tub makes recovery a welcomed reward.

I played in the Member/Guest golf tournament last year and the course was fantastic. The golf shop employees were as kind as could be and catered to all players with a smile on their face. The food was very good at the dinner Saturday evening and the members made all the guests feel welcome. My favorite part was watching all of the young families at the pool enjoying beautiful summer days with their children. This is a great club with friendly staff at every turn, 2 perfectly groomed courses, excellent food / drink. We don't use the pool but large crowds all summer long say that it is equal to everything else.

Treated like Royalty! Staff was friendly and accidamanting no matter what. Had the best time ever with family in a relaxed manner! We had a rehearsal dinner. Food was great! Food at places like this is not fresh., this food was on time and fresh and the BBQ Brisket was to die for! I wanted to take a bucket of that sause home. Once you were done ( they didn't rush you) your finished plate was removed by a great staff! Come again......heck YES!

2 stars. Golf courses are in great shape. Pro shop staff are very nice. Everythings else is a total money grab. Initiation is constantly going up and down. 15k in 2023. 7500 in 2024. Zero in 2015. Feel bad for the fools who joined last yr. Cart fees are outrageous north of 30 a round. Outtings almost weekly. So course closed. In the fall, middle school,highschool teams getting hours worth of evening t times. Bet they didnt pay 15k initiation? Or outrageous guest fee north of 115 a round. T sheet is jammed. Some members have a standing t time. Which is not advertised. First 4 or 5 t times every…
