This is a great course for beginners. If you want to take someone starting out, this is the course. If you're experienced, then you can work on your short game. There are 3 par 4's, so you'll get to hit a driver a few times. I remember playing here as a kid with my grandpa, and now my kids are learning as I did. The only disclaimer I have, is being a public, par 3 course, you must be relaxed with true golf etiquette. Instead, enjoy the memories of your new golfers and the sites of young golfers playing in their own foursome.

It was great for a 9 hole public course. The only complaint is the duo that was also on the course at the same time. They were screaming and acting a fool. I'm a traditionalist and I miss the etiquette that golf had always contained. I will definitely play here again and look forward to it.

Always a fun course that challenges you more than you would think! The 3 Par 4 holes all have water features which add difficulty. Best is you will meet wonderful people golfing there, of all abilities, whom checked their attitudes at the door. A non-judgment zone so, even if it’s your first time golfing, you are welcome here!

Get to use every club in your bag on this 9-hole executive par 3 course. Incredibly well maintained, friendly staff and volunteers. Pace moves well. Mix of people sharpening skills, casual and beginning golfers.

My husband and I were in town for a concert and played this course. We arrived about 50 minutes early for our tee time, they were so nice and allowed us to start early instead of having to wait for our tee time. All of the men working that we encountered from the pro shop to the club pull carts and throughout the course were so friendly and kind. The course was perfect for a quick round that we were able to walk. We would highly recommend this course and will return in the future when we are in the area again!

The experience was poor overall. On the first hole we have the cart attendant come up to us to tell us to keep the pace of play so for the rest of the 9 holes we rushed through to keep up so we didn't get another warning. Meanwhile, we have 2 preteens playing around on every hole which then back us up and the 2 foursomes behind us. We didn't know we were being watched the whole time, but when we returned the cart the attendant once again brought up keeping the pace of play and blamed us for backing up the 2 foursomes behind us and not the preteens in front of us. He was very rude when addressi…

Cheap for golf and the price reflects it. Tees are horrid, the greens don't even meet the standards for a 'muni', and grumpy staff. Pick another city course.

The staff was rude especially the member in the red shirt in charge of the carts. Also, no notification was given that hole 8 was virtually unplayable due to damage on the green. If known we would have played another course.

I can honestly say out of all Columbus city courses, Wilson road has the least friendly staff. Couple of the workers are nice but the course is run like a tour course when if anything it should be the most laid back. It’s the type of course where you play with beginner players and families although the clubhouse acts like it’s pro. The experience gets less and less enjoyable each time

This was the first time I've ever been on a real golf course and it was a great first experience. Everyone was very friendly. The course was beautiful. I would love to go again. My husband played from the white tees and I played from the purples which were closer to the hole. It was nine holes. They have golf carts or push carts for rent.

I haven't played Wilson Rd in over a decade. We played early on Sunday morning and it was my nine-year-old nephew's first round ever. The staff was so encouraging, giving him some great vibes and offering a bag of junior clubs as well. He played great and we kept up our pace of play. The course was in surprisingly great shape given the number of rounds it gets each day. The greens were receptive and again, in great shape. We will definitely be back! Thanks again to the staff for being so welcoming to our little guy.
