The Golf Club of Dublin

Course was a little soggy but what do you expect the day after massive rain? GCOD is a pretty solid public course overall and one of the better options in the area if you want something that’s usually in decent shape and reasonably challenging without being over the top. The layout has some good variety and enough elevation change to keep it interesting, especially compared to flatter courses around Columbus. Greens are typically maintained well. Got out at 645am so pace of play was no issue. A few holes aren’t especially memorable, which is why I’d keep it at four stars for the overall course…

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here! Could not recommend enough! The location is stunning. We loved having the ceremony outside with the pergola behind us and you can see the lake. The cocktail hour was both under the tent and on the lawn. We went inside for the reception and got to enjoy the view with all the gorgeous windows. Mainly, we LOVED working with Keri. We initially worked with Lisa who went to a different venue, and we had loved Lisa so Keri had big shoes to fill :) But she did it with ease! My daughter's wedding was held here. It was a beautiful setting, outdoors as well as inside. Kerrie, the venue coordinator, and the entire staff were all so friendly and helpful. They made the event stress-free and worked well in partnership with the wedding coordinator. I would recommend this venue for your special event.

Played 10/21/2023 and this course is pure and amazing. Incredible layout and great shape for end of season as well. Staff was really welcoming, let them know I came from Youngstown around 2.5 hour drive to play with my buddy and was his birthday and they were awesome. Carts are fantastic, love not having to use a range finder when playing due to the incredible break down of the hole and even the green reading map gps in cart. Played middle of October for the first time. Course was in INCREDIBLE shape - well manicured, greens fast and true, rough was thick but fair. Riveted faced bunkers are a really cool visual - fortunately I didn’t hit in any of them, but appeared in great shape as well. Course is American links style, but the bunkers do add a little euro flavor to it. The entire course works its way thru a housing development - which I know some people don’t like - but that being said, has a nice layout. Some of the holes at least offer some protection from the homes with trees and the tall grass, but some hole…

It's such a beautiful golf course!! It's been a while since I have played & what an awesome course to start back out on. I can not wait to play it again!!

Course is in excellent condition. Great track as well. We came today (first time at GCD) for a 6:09pm 9-hole tee time off the back 9, which appeared to be the most expensive tee time for the day. For the entirety of our play, the sprinklers were going off on the fairways, in front of greens and even on the green on one hole. Staff drove by in carts and did nothing about it. Super disappointed by this.

Great layout, driving range, practice facility and bar + pro shop!!! The course is a links layout with tees and plenty of water hazards added, only played twice and both times the greens were is great shape and rolled perfect.... Friendly staff from the starter, pro shop, the bar and the cart girl, can't wait to get back and play it again!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here, and I could not have been happier with our choice! Lisa, the venue coordinator, was an absolute blessing for us and our wedding! She made sure we had every single question answered and made us feel like we were the most important people in her life - we are so extremely happy we had the opportunity to work with her! Golf course was in great shape. Greens were pretty quick. Fairways were great. And pace of play was good. It was a Thursday afternoon. I’m in from out of town and will definitely play again when I’m back in town.

Always loved the golf here for the last 23 years. Finally they have got the kitchen/bar/restaurant figured out!!!! And 5 stars out to Alexis - seriously, I bar out all over town. She da bomb!

Trivia at the Golf Course of Dublin was amazing as was the pub food and drink. Wait staff was also great. Thanks for facilitating some fun!
