Mentel is what I’d consider my “home course,” and I’ve easily played here over 100 times in the past year. The layout is straightforward but never boring — it’s the kind of course you can play again and again and still find new challenges. The staff is always welcoming, and the course is kept in good condition considering the amount of play it gets. Tee times are usually easy to find, and the pace of play is generally solid, which makes it a reliable choice when I just want to get out and enjoy a round. For me, Mentel combines convenience, affordability, and a course design that keeps you co…

Jon said this place has the best municipal dogs in the city, so I loaded up my clubs and drove 40 minutes to find out! Dogs aren't bad not great I would give them 3/5. They offer toasted buns here which was a nice treat (though I prefer steamed). They also have a condiments bar with onion, banana peppers and pickles which is why im giving a 4/5. I don't think Jon was right, I had better dogs at other courses, and will prolly question his suggestions in the future! He tries his best though. Local guide out!

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful, intimate wedding at Mentel Memorial Golf Course! The scenery was absolutely stunning — such a lovely venue and an amazing experience overall.

Good course. Usually in decent shape considering it's a municipal course. Nothing exciting, relatively flat and uninspired but not bad. Proshop lacks selection. Driving range is irons only. Decent putting and chipping area. Easily walkable. Save yourself the cart fee and walk it.

Great condition, great price. $23 to walk! Course really was in incredible condition, very well maintained. Fairways were nice, rough was mowed to an appropriate length (shorter so not as penalizing) and the greens rolled true. Played midweek during the day in 3 hours 45 min.

The cashier was unnecessarily rude, and the starter was just as bad. The older cashier refused to answer simple yes or no questions for us, and was not helpful whatsoever. He also snapped back with attitude not once, but twice. It was stunning. I wouldn’t recommend going to this course if you enjoy hospitality. I’ve never had a good experience with the employees of this course. They always act like their customers are a burden. The actual course itself is very nice and fun to play.

Solid as always. Greens were in great shape, so were tee boxes. Starting to dry out a little. Great pace on a Saturday. One of the best public’s in Cbus.

Club house was rude. “Can’t drive your cart in the parking lot “ course was alright very basic nothing that stood out. Scheduled our tee time for 3 people got there and they said it was only for 1 person. $38 for a round isn’t bad nowadays but for that price there are a ton of courses around that I feel are prettier and more fun to play. Probably wont come back. The range is good and the two practice greens were well maintained. But with how the workers acted you would have thought the course would play true. Greens were covered in ball marks. Bunkers played true but were not in spots that the…
