A private golf course for golfers. Challenging course, excellent layout. Spectacular greens. Great staff and great selection in the shop. Dont go expecting a pool or country club and all those amenities. This is a private golf club. I got to play it while considering membership. I wish I had signed up. Prices have gone up since I played there. Biggest regret was not becoming a member.

Great Golf Course, wonderful personel. Greens are great, fairways as well. Cart paths need work !!! Sand traps could use more sand.

I’m fortunate enough to claim Hickory as the course where I learned how to golf. What I consider to be the hidden gem of central Ohio, hickory presents many challenges that will quickly humble the average golfer like myself. I will say that without a shred of a doubt the course is in as good of shape as I have ever seen it in my life. The greens are like glass, the bunkers actually have sand in them, and you’ll be punished be the rough for just slightly missing a fairway. Huge props to the grounds crew for the for maintaining the course at such a high level with little resources. This course s…

Played a round today as a prospective new member. The course was in amazing condition. The greens were stunning. Super fast rolling greens. Mini Augusta style. The layout is breathtaking with deep ravines amazing rolling landscape. Practice range was great. New Taylor Made range balls. Practice pitching green and large practice putting green. Staff was very nice and helpful. Downside for me and the only downside is the drive to get here. I will probably overlook that.

Nice private course. Played an outing here. Pretty good shape, very nice staff and good food. Reasonably priced beers for a golf course. Not a very long but a pretty tight course. It was fun to play and would probably be a member if I didn't live 50 minutes away.

Met my father for a couple of beers on the patio. Beautiful setting. Didn't realize the place was founded in 1979. I don't golf, but if I did, I would definitely be a member of this club. Didn't get to meet the pro, but all the people on the patio said he's great and an amazing instructor and player.

Poor member experience, although the staff does do their best. Course is not in good shape, 3/10. Many events are booked and then canceled day before or with very short notice, very unorganized. Many of the issues stem from member leadership, they have problems with very simple aspects of the private golf experience, such as booking tee times online or following established rules. There are some good people out there, but the majority of members were very unwelcoming and set a poor culture/environment. "The Hick" isn't a course that I would feel comfortable bringing guests or business associat…

A hidden gem. Let me explain why: Affordable monthly dues - if you golf a couple times a week it pays for itself in my opinion. People - staff and members are friendly and everyone just loves the game of golf. Openness - by this I mean the course is literally wide open during twilight hours. There are usually leagues on one 9 but if you Tee off between 730-8 on the other 9 I literally have the whole course to myself. It’s honestly the best golf experience because I’m trying to get better and playing solo right now fits where I am in my golf game. The course - no houses. Greens are in good…

I have been going by Hickory Hills for most of my life but had never been in or played here. I came for a party, and was asked if I wanted to play the front 9... what a great course! Fairly challenging and the course is beautiful! I would highly recommend!

It's a nice course, but they seem to have some issues with bare spots around the greens. Wasn't in the best shape..maybe a little over priced for the condition the course was in..would like to play it again when it's at its best!
