Venango Valley Inn & Golf Course

My family and I always go there to eat when we get together. The service is very good and the food is always delicious. Each meal appears to be made with TLC, with quality food and beautifully displayed on the plates. They’re always very busy, but you don’t have to wait a long time to get food. My number one place of recommendation for eating out.

It was one of the best public courses I have played. Make sure to make a tee time. They have a driving range and practice short game area and nice putting green. The course is being renovated with some new tee boxes on I thing hole 6, and they have changed the layout according to the starter this morning.

Myself and my family enjoyed a wonderful evening at Venago Valley Inn in celebration of my Mother’s 75th Birthday. The staff was incredibly courteous and accommodating from initial contact to reserve the private room all the way to completion of the party. The venue was perfect, extremely clean and very comfortable. Our meals were beautifully plated and definitely above par in expectation. Delicious meal as always! Great service. Highly recommend the “parlor,” it’s a front room and fantastic for a family or friend meal minimum 10 guests, up to 12. The room makes it nice to have a conversation with a group. Meals we ordered included chicken piccata, scallops magnifique, stuffed mushroom appetizer, tenderloin de Verona, Italian trio, and more! Everyone left full and happy. The bread is wonderful as well. We look forward to trying new things next time.

The golf course is simply the best in the region. Other public courses should try to emulate what is happening at V Valley. The greens are fast, smooth, and super well cared for from mowing and rolling to verticutting. Alan S, the Superintentendent has a great crew of maintenance people who are courteous, polite and rarely ever just standing around. They have been in a constant, continuous improvement mode with upgrades on the course. Beautiful place and wonderful service! I had the Rueben sandwich and it’s delicious, the best I’ve had in years…real corn beef not lunch meat! I will definitely return on my next visit home!

One of the best meals I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Anna was our waitress who was just the best! Clean, friendly place. Will be back!

Attended a post-funeral lunch. It was a rainy day so no golfers but the parking filled up. There were a few handicap spaces. A long wet walk from the car to the venue. Clean, pleasant decor Servers for the buffet worked hard to keep food warm and available. The food was ok. Not the best I have ever had but not bad. To be honest, if it were a more festive event, the food would receive more negative comments. But it was a wake so griping about the meal would be in bad taste. Restrooms were clean and easily accessible. The venue did a good job providing a safe clean space for mourners.

This restaurant had been recommended to me by some friends of mine for a while. Decided to give it a shot and am certainly glad we did. Food was excellent and the staff was nice. Looking forward to returning here in the future.
