In summary

Country Meadows Golf Course receives praise for its scenic views, unique layout, and friendly clubhouse staff, with the island green on hole 17 being a standout feature. The course is considered enjoyable for both beginners and seasoned golfers, offering good value and a pleasant atmosphere. However, some visitors express concerns about inconsistent maintenance, with issues such as uncut fairways and roughs, as well as dissatisfaction with rain check policies and occasional slow pace of play.

The greens were honestly terrible, looked like they had diseases on them, and were firm as pavement. I dropped a ball from just above my head (i’m about 6’1) would bounce to my mid shin. The layout especially on the front 9 was so confusing which i usually have no struggle with. thought about just quitting after 9. The bunkers on some of these holes looked worse than the cart path to hit from. I would have to land the ball 30 yards short for it to stay on the green. The clubhouse and bar are nice and so are the people but this course is just awful and i’ve played golf my whole life, one of the…

Very nice laid out course. Greens are easy to read and the holes are enjoyable. They are all unique and not one is the same. The island green is an iconic staple. Great price for any round, too. Enjoyed playing here and highly recommend.

Charging full price when the course clearly needed maintenance. I’ve played many courses, and the roughs and fairways here were borderline unplayable. On top of that, they denied us a rain check, claiming 'it’s not even that bad out,' despite this being the forecast. Really like the course just terrible treatment and not maintained well.

I like the course but the course is not cut well and when it starts to rain before we even tee off on the back nine we get 13 dollars and not even a free 9 for a rain check. Very disappointing with the level of course it is.

The entire course needed cut, 6-7in rough, the bunkers have grass and concrete sand. The lady in the clubhouse was unprofessional, gave our group attitude for no reason. They obviously don’t care about maintaining their course or their players. There are plenty of other courses around the area that are way better and cheaper. Very disappointed in the fact that it cost $25 to play 9 here.

Course isn’t maintained very well. They allowed multiple groups of 6+ golfers out so 18 holes took us 6 hours. There’s enough great courses around, you don’t need to play this one

Nice course but nothing compared to Venango Valley. If you have the option, skip this one. I asked about a kids rate for my 11 year old..nope, full price for a kid plus a credit card charge. Never a mention of the fee. Skip it and go elsewhere

Will never golf there ever again. Paid for 18 holes before it started raining and instead of being given the money we spent for the last 9 or given a free 9, we got a credit of 1/3 what we spent towards the next round.

This is one of my favorite courses to play. The country views are amazing and hole 17 with its beautiful island green is definitely the best par 3 hole on the course. This course is good for beginners or veteran golfers.

Wide open course. Great for beginners. Good folks. Sadly the owner passed from cancer but more the reason to get out there and support the course. Have had some of my best rounds ever there. Hole 17 Island green will definitely test your skill. Try it.

Very nice course, great scenic views. Club house staff very friendly and helpful. Really enjoy the booklet they provide that describes each hole! #17 provides some real entertainment!

The fairways and rough are basically the same thing. Greens are okay. The day we went was cart path only.
