Brabenders South Woods Golf Club

I've been going here at Branenders for 20+ years. It's a fun 9 hole course with varied terrain, and a wonderful amount of shade. There are no boring holes, each one has its unique challenges. The price is always reasonable and it's a great low key atmosphere.

Excellent 9 holes.. large greens..very good price.

Great course. No cart path and quite muddy after a good rain. The course holds water well. A good amount of hazards but not challenging. Sunset golf here is the best. Recommend to all golfer. Cash only.

Excellent staff. Large greens which unusual for a 9 hole course. Price is great. A great course for beginners to intermediate golfers. Bring cash, they don't accept plastic. No alcohol so bring your own. Definitely worth playing. They seem to be always working to improve the course.

Spongy Greens. Watered like crazy from what I hear. Nice flat course to visit for this Pittsburgh guy. Nice 9 hope course. Cash only though.

Today I had an altercation on the course. Despite being wrong for reacting the way I did I was shown the upmost respect and even given 9 holes on the house. I am grateful for the way the owners and employees handled the situation. I would recommend Golfing at Southwoods 10 times out of 10. Thanks guys!

It's just a nice casual place to go golfing (great for beginners)

Very nice course but make sure to bring cash. They will not except credit card and don’t have an ATM 👍

Fantastic 9 hole course. As a group of beginner players we had a lot of fun and moved along fairly quickly. Seems to be well maintained. Would highly recommend for beginners.

A GREAT country 9-hole golf course. I played and worked at then "Brabender's" as a teenager. The course has really improved over the years. If you can play in the evening it is wonderful. I highly recommend!!

Golf course was a bit wet due to the recent rains but all in all we had a good time golfing. The staff was very friendly and informative.
