A fantastic golf course for a weekend with the boys. Great place to bring the family. Owner is extremely nice and don't worry he's sober. So he won't be drunk at all. He's extremely funny and respectful. He's such a hard worker and makes this course fantastic. Just watch out for the kids that golf there. There little trouble makers.

First off, the greens are in awful condition! I mean AWFUL! And they still charged $42.00 for 18 holes with a cart. It was the longest round of golf I've ever endured, 4 hours and 45 minutes. When we (a threesome) got to around the 13th or 14th hole a slow foursome just ahead of us turned into an even slower eightsome. It was ridiculous. I called the clubhouse asking if they had a course marshal that could move play along I was told by the pro shop, a what? I said to her that we had an eightsome now playing ahead of us and play was a 5 to 10 minute wait between shots. Apparently they allow tha…

Honestly a great a course. Greens were a little fast sometimes but other than that perfect! Had a blast and you can grab some good food on the turn. Would highly recommend!

It was the first time out. So for a first time golfer it was clean and the greens were good. We were there for a fund raiser. It was a huge turnout and a down poor but it was a great time and the staff were wonderful!

When visiting family in the Meadville area I normally play 1. Whispering Pines 2. Oakland Beach. Both had outings so I booked this course. Good value greens fee wise $40 but it was raining and lack of a windshield and rain hood on cart sucked. Now for the golf. Decent layout , greens rolled true but had some strange fringe cuts going sideways into middle of greens. Why? LOL. Truly a sprayers paradise as some fairways could have landed a 737. Overall a bit overrated.

My “home” course. Great layout. You remember every hole because they are all unique in there own way. Large greens and fairways. No blind tee boxes so you can always see exactly where your drive went. Very friendly staff. Always in great condition! Price is fair and reasonable compared to other courses in the area. I always recommend Mt. Hope!

What a gorgeous course. Only had time to play 9 so we played the back 9 and its a good intermediate course for golfers. A nice mix of hazards and well maintained. The only negative would be dont go after a hard rain. Great Course will definitely return to play this picturesque course again.

Very nicely. Golf course this is definitely a five-star country setting Golf Course. And even good for a large Pavilion Gathering for your family or group gatherings. With a large open fireplace, public restrooms and Porta-Johns on the course. Well kept and very good greens. A very good golf course for beginners and experienced players. And decent rates as well as certain days of the week specials. And there is a special on a daily basis depending on what time you want to play.

For a course off the beaten path it was way better than I expected. They have a driving range and the course was in incredibly well maintained. The greens and fairways were in great shape making the round well worth the trip.

This is a beautiful course. It is perhaps a bit easier than some, but the perfection of the grounds makes up for that.. the prices are very low... and it has a very nice outdoor area for parties and outings.. one more thing the staff is very friendly and helpful.. a favorite of mine when my regular course is unavailable.
