In summary

The Canyon Club is praised for its well-maintained and challenging golf course, beautiful setting, and excellent dining options with a standout chef and reasonably priced menu. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and professionalism, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with communication regarding memberships and swim team enrollments, as well as occasional understaffing in the food and beverage areas.

Update 1-20-2026: This place still has the best food I have ever had at a country club. The chimmi is 100% awesome. Just enjoyed a round of golf at this course with food and beverages. I have to say they have a new chef in the kitchen who has absolutely blown me away. The food has fresh ingredients and are cooked with perfection. The soda tastes brand new. I have a new found faith in this club! Try the food!

Delicious food. We went for supper (rabbit sausage over crème rose sauce covering pasta ($12). Then we returned for breakfast the following morning for their eggs ranchero ($6). Really hard to beat the prices!

Private club, but great place for a casual dinner in the lounge/ dining area. Staff is wonderful. They have many other services, but I've only been a guest to eat, so a limited review. Awesome sunset views through trees and over golf course.

Wonderful experience at the Canyon Club at Four Hills! We were part of a fundraising event for the New Mexico Kidney Foundation. We did this in correlation with your Pickle ball club at the Canyon Club. Very pleased with this location and the many helping hands!

Called about membership on Tuesday and Wednesday, left voicemails. Called again on Friday, straight to voicemail. Stopped by on my way home and was told I needed an appointment.

Private country club with great atmosphere and food. We had the crab cake eggs benedict which was AMAZING! Honestly such a unique take on eggs benedict and it works so well together the way they did it. The pinon sundae dessert was also very delicious. They have golf, swimming, pickleball, tennis, gym, among other things.

We joined just 5 months ago but have had nothing but a good experience. Staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. The waitresses are awesome and the menu is excellent. The tennis instructor is the best I've ever seen. The golf course is beautiful, challenging and has quite a bit of shade from all the beautiful trees. The pool is Olympic sized. They have a yoga class once a week as well!

The grass is amazing. The whole course is very well groomed. The carts are very nice. The staff mowing were very polite and did a great job to not disturb our game. There are some wonderful views. In most places the houses were set back from the course which made me much more comfortable. I didn't like the lack of hole maps at the tee boxes, the lack of ball washing stations. There were not even numbers at the tee boxes to help determine that you are starting the right hole which can be troublesome at the turn. I also did not like the lack of restrooms on the course. I think they have renamed…

We have a pool membership. It is great for families and a nice environment. Pool is clean, they supply water and towels. I give it 4 stars because they usually don't have enough staff working the food and beverage area (staff is nice it's just under staffed) and the bathrooms need a serious facelift. If they addressed these issues it would be 5 stars.
