What People Say

In summary

Ladera Golf Club is generally appreciated for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and enjoyable layout, including both an 18-hole course and a nine-hole executive course. Many visitors enjoy the scenic setting and amenities like the snack bar and live music events. However, some guests have expressed concerns about inconsistent customer service, the condition of certain facilities such as bathrooms, and issues with water availability on hot days. Additionally, there are occasional reports of slow pace of play and communication challenges during peak times.

This is my first time here at this Golf course. I have been too many around the world. And this one it just needs some TLC. The bathrooms are not appealing and to be honest I would rather pee outside. And if the bathrooms look like that I am not sure I would order any food from this location. The staff is nice, but you can see. They need some help with keeping up on the cleanliness of the Golf course And Bar area

Love this golf course. The executive 9 is our go to for moderate golfers. Classes are also available and great. The 18 hole course is long and fun! Now and then you will see hot air balloons land around the course.

This is not a review of the golf course itself, but of an interaction I had with a staff member over the phone. I called to request a tee time, and before I could even finish my sentence, the employee interrupted me and immediately said there was no availability. I found this dismissive and unprofessional. Customer service should be courteous and patient, even when a course is booked.

Course is in over all great shape. A couple of fairways are still growing... and rope off. Green are pretty good. Some still bumpy. Waaay better than arroyo del oso

Passing through wanted to play around to golf. Had not played this location yet. One of the courses of the city runs. I like the covered parking out in the parking lot right from the beginning. Friendly staff inside the pro shop got me taken care of as a walk on. Snack bar was well stocked. Pro shop had limited items to sell. Unfortunately they were out of there ladera golf hats which is what I collect. Bought a shirt instead with their logo on it got ready to go out as a single at noon another guy join me course was in really good shape except for one hole the putting green was pretty eaten u…

I came in for a drink, was charged a $5 cover fee because there was live music on the patio, which was fine. I had my 6lb dog with me, I have brought her here 2 times prior to this with no issues. The minute I walk up to the bar I’m approached by an aggressive employee scolding me for being at the bar with my dog. Your other two employee had no problem charging me a cover charge and letting me in my dog. I ended up leaving. If you do not allow dog on the property that is fine, but you owe your customers the consistency of enforcing those policies. Instead of being rude to unexpecting paying cu…

The golf course is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly. Some areas could be improved, but overall, a solid place to play.

Pace of play needs to be enforced. Groups stacked up does not make the round enjoyable at all.

Convienent and beautiful, Thirsty Thursdays are great, decent prices on good food, those who drink they have great drink specials, and the live music is the cherry on top.

We’ve always considered Ladera our home course and were excited to plan a family golf outing there today. We made a tee time after church and arrived looking forward to spending our Sunday together. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with how things unfolded. Upon arrival, we waited over 20 minutes in the pro shop line. When we finally reached the front, we were abruptly told that no carts would be issued due to high volume. This was never communicated in advance. We kindly explained that one of our group members has knee issues and walking the course wasn’t an option. The respons…

Course is in terrible shape currently. Fairways are pretty dead everywhere and sandy/rocky top dressed greens. They should be charging half price, look elsewhere.

Course is in very good shape. Hadn't been here in bit and was pleasantly surprised. A very slow group two groups ahead of us was only downside today.
