Tanoan Country Club

We chose to have our wedding reception and ceremony here at Tanoan country club and it was absolutely perfect! From the scenery, the food, the staff, I cannot express how happy we are with how our special day turned out. Thank you thank you!

We just had Sunday Brunch and it was amazing! This is a wonderful place to have a wedding or event. Food was good. The banquet room has awesome views of the valley and mountains. Wait staff was amazing! Ask for Summer, she is the best. They also had stuff for the kids to do. There was an Easter egg hunt, balloonist - Julianna Schultz n and face painting by Susan Gomez. They were amazing with the kids. I highly suggest this place for a fine dining events, special occasions, and of course golfing.

Beautiful course with mountain scenery. Monday wasn't busy at all. Only problem I had was figuring out distance to green without a satellite range finder. Will definitely play again when I come thru.

It’s a private golf club. Very nice greens with food outlets and a pro shop. Good friendly people. The club is under renovation and probably looking for a new club with lots more outlets like a gym, a grab and go food outlet, a coffee shop bar and a totally new look set for April.

I’m sorry but I was not impressed at all with the service we received for our wedding at your club. The reasons being no one from the club helped with setting up the wedding. We had to get all our guests ourselves set up, arranged the wedding guests in the lines, we had to seat everyone. I have been to at least a dozen weddings and this was the first one we had to do all the work. The banquet staff looked like they had no desire to be there working. I had high expectations when we chose Tanoan country club as the Venue for our daughters wedding. I wanted to share my experience with everyone because I don't feel like my voice was heard when I was speaking to the sales team about some of the imperfections, and basic needs regarding service. The Venue was extremely hot. The air conditioning was not working properly and we had a few pregnant women who were our guests. One of them got so over heated because the wait staff hadn’t been going around to fill up the water pitchers that she was about to pass out. One of the groomsmen went to ask for…

I utilized Tanoan for a holiday event and everything was fantastic. We were helped by Sunee and she literally did everything. It was so easy because we only had to choose the decor and food menu. The venue is very upscale and the staff was very professional and went out of their way to ensure everything was a success. If you want a stress free and easy time planning an event, Tanoan is the place to use.

I’m not big on leaving reviews but with this exceptionally bad experience we’ve been having, I felt the need to share. We’ve been members here since June 2020. We have been very disappointed with the level of service around the entire club. Being vegetarian we both expressed concern during our initial visit that the restaurants had little to no options for us. We were told that it was a temporary problem and there would be ample vegetarian options to cater to the rising demand of multiple members. In 2 years there hasn’t been any changes to the menu. I worked here for 11 years and finally had a chance to join a few years ago. My wife and I love the family atmosphere and the location of the club. Our girls love the pool, and we also play tennis. The pool area is so great, we spend every weekend at the club. Tanoan has great swim teachers if you are looking for lessons for your kids. Dave Pitts runs a great team down at the tennis part of the club. The tennis lessons are top notch and you never have to wait for a court to play on. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a club to join.

One of my favorite wedding venues!

Tanoan is a lovely place. Great food, good service. They retain staff and keep folks happy. We had our wedding here and the staff were amazing. They are affordable, beautiful venue with the best views in the city. The food is affordable and tastes delicious.

We had breakfast before golf, then had lunch afterwards. The breakfast took a while and it wasn't very hot. The lunch burger was good. The cart path needs some serious help! The fairways had swampy areas where there was a water leak or something going on. Other than that, I had a great time with friends!
