Shaker Ridge Country Club

I've only been there for our company holiday party in December. The venue is pretty and the food is delicious. As far as golf I have never golf there as I am not a member there.

Nice facility. The food was good. The staff were courteous. I would certainly book an event there.

Nice location for an event we'll catered

Really disappointed. I scheduled this venue months in advance for our team training day. 5 days before our event they cancelled us, for probably the only reason that I could understand and respect. One of their members loved ones passed away and wanted to use the space for their bereavement. I totally understand this and I'd prefer the family to have the space during this difficult time. However, I would be remiss if I didn't at least warn people that this is a possibility when booking this venue. I was there for a party and the food was great, the selection was roast beef or stuffed chicken breast. I had the chicken and it was delicious, my friends enjoyed the roast beef and their chickens too. Salad before dinner was wonderful. All and all the place is gorgously decorated. Great place for a wedding or other venue. The people who cooked our at Shaker Ridge was Ed Shea & son Eddie, company called 2Shea Catering. They are Fantastic!

Loved the Mothers day Brunch. The food was excellent, the servers were friendly, and all accommodations were met for our grandmother. It was my first time there so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was more than pleased. Five stars doesn't even cut it. Wish there was six.

Good for smaller groups of 100 or less. Once you get above that it can be a bit crowded and noisy around the bar area. Food was good, beer selection was limited. Waitstaff were fairly efficient and friendly. Plenty of parking but you had to walk in the road to get to the banquet hall.

I have had the opportunity to perform for multiple events at Shaker Ridge Country Club and I have to say they have ALWAYS been great experiences. The food provided by 2Shea Catering is mouthwatering and very nicely presented. The atmosphere is always a great. I have done weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and private parties at this venue, each and everyone have been wonderful affairs. The staff is friendly and helpful. Beautiful course! The greens always roll great! It is tough, so if you’re looking to test your game, this is it. My husband has been a member for 5 years and myself 2 years. Definitely best course in capital region. The pool is a nice bonus if you’re looking to hang out and take a break in the summertime too!

The location had a very large and accommodating parking lot that is conveniently located to the club house. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. In addition, the entire location whether it's on the green or inside is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend planning your next event at this spectacular venue.
