In summary

Mill Road Acres Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained grounds, scenic setting, and friendly staff, offering a good venue for honing short game skills with its predominantly par-3 layout. The on-site restaurant receives positive feedback for its food, although some dining experiences vary. Criticisms include inconsistent green conditions, high pricing for a par-3 course, and occasional issues with customer service and pace of play.

3-4 greens were unplayable. No care was given to blow off after aerating. We left after seeing the 8th. It took another half an hour to get the owner to negotiate, and a refund was off the table. The league that was about to go on said this is always an issue. Really unfortunate experience and poor customer service. The town of colonie course is much nicer and similarly priced, and just 5-10 minutes down the road. All I was looking for was a refund for the time that we wasted, and was offered % off because we played some of the holes. If you went to the movie theater and they shut off the mov…

Of course it's very short and may not be worth the price but there are a couple of cool holes and the restaurant is one of the best at a golf course in the area. Was there again in June of 2023 and the greens were pristine. Best in the area. Too bad the restaurant didn't open till 11:30.

This is a great course to hone your short game, 14 par 3s and 4 par 4s, immaculately kept grounds, nice form greens, and enough of a challenge for beginner and intermediate golfers. Update 23 October: still awesome, played 18 and everything still immaculate, lots of leaves so hit them straight! Hit the club after for excellent ribs and beer

The is a supee beginner course if that is what you are looking for. I hit long much of the time just using my high # irons. Took ny driver out once on the back 9. Left me disappointed. The greens are in bad shape. I probably won't play here again unless I bring my kids out to learn.

I'm not a golfer but the restaurant is open to the public so I don't need to be. I enjoyed a very good charbroiled burger but my wings missed the mark (a bit undercooked and hardly any Buffalo sauce at all). That said, I'd still recommend. I just won't order wings here again. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. Nice atmosphere for lunch or dinner.

Customer service was terrible and bartender was extremely rude. I sat at the bar and asked for a glass of water and was treated terrible so we decided not to have dinner there like we planned to do after our round at the driving range. Left our balls for someone else to hit. We will take our business elsewhere. To top it off the soap dispenser didn’t work in the bathroom and I was told oh you just have to jiggle it a lot in order to get soap out. I think you need a new soap dispenser and a little respect for your customers.

Well maintained course. It's only par 58 and mostly are par 3s. They have 4 par 4s, 2 on front and 2 on the back. Walking is most likely here but they have carts for rent. More or less 3 hours of play and it all depend how many you are. Driving range, putting areas and chipping areas, nice clubhouse with good variety of foods. Reasonable prices compare to other courses.

Staff is super friendly, always. The only bad thing about the place is the RANGE BALLS ARE HORRIBLE! Practically half of a bucket consists of balls that are cut from the mowers, caked with dirt that won't come off, or been hit so many times there are no dimples left. The balls definitely need to be rotated with newer ones. Beyond that however, the place is great
