Wolferts Roost Country Club

Got married here in June 2025. Stephanie was great and made sure everything went perfect. Ricardo helped out on the day of our wedding and was so attentive as well. This place was the perfect venue. The grounds and ballroom are beautiful. We got married outside and had the reception inside in ballroom. The food was above average, delicious!!! We loved all the samples they gave us at the tasting. It made it hard to limit it down but we did. We were are so grateful to have got to celebrate our big day here, and will remember it forever!

The roost is a special place.. As a member only golf course, we expect an experience and the roost delivers. The grounds are breathtaking and maticulosly cared for. All 18 holes are unique and challenging. The staff are so friendly and accomadating to ensure that your time spent here is an extension of home. Lastly, every member takes such pride in maintaining the legacy of this historic club. The roost is truly a special place and we feel lucky to be a part of it

What a special venue! Absolutely opulent!! I attended a fundraiser luncheon here (for the women's program of Capital City Rescue Mission♥️) and it could not have been more perfect! Much attention to detail by the staff- and all were so welcoming. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. (And tables were done being cleared before the program began- a rare happening at other places I've been!!)

Clean facility, great tasting food, polite customers and staff -- can't get better than that.

I was here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The place is gorgeous. It had a ton of windows with a beautiful view. The staff was super polite and friendly. And the food was SO GOOD! (Especially the pretzles and beer cheese!)

Maggie up in lights with a special party for Maggie from the capital rep. She was retiring as artistic producer and director wonderfully nice catered event with exquisite atmosphere.

I hate posting such negative reviews and only do so when earned. Our professional study club has hosted many events here. The food is always sub par and often makes me sick. We were denied service at the bar as it's "members only". So, you'll let our club rent your space and pay you to cater, but then treat us like that? Go here if you think you're better than everyone else, and you'll fit right in.

Beautiful Environment, well kept. Great Scenery, quiet and calm. I did not visit the inside entirely because I was there for a luncheon hosted by the Rescue Mission. The Bathrooms are kept very clean and even have a sofa, very impressive!!

I attend the Albany Executives Association (AXA) meetings at the Roost weekly. I have seen the seasons change. Seeing everything in bloom is breathtaking, the landscaping on the grounds is just fabulous. I attend our meetings weekly and the venue is always top notch. The food, the service, the amenities - everything you would expect and more. Given we meet weekly, I've had ample opportunity to review everything for several months. Highly recommend this as an event venue. The staff, venue, services and food have been impressive every week.

This place was absolutely beautiful. I can picture weddings, balls, and formal dinners here with the beautiful double winding staircases and the large chandeliers. There is an elevator to the upstairs ballroom. The room is HUGE! You can imagine people all dressed in tuxedos and gown twirling in that wide open space. The bathrooms were well kept. There is ample parking spaces and wheelchair accessible entrance. Overall a grand place! I had a great time.

What an amazing golf course and facilities. The food is superb.
