In summary

Sandy Creek Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for budget-conscious golfers. The course layout is generally well-received, though several visitors note that the greens and fairways are in need of maintenance, with issues such as crabgrass and hard surfaces. While some patrons enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, others have expressed dissatisfaction with the management and customer service.

Greens and tee boxes are in pretty rough shape, might be because it is the end of the season. Price is very very reasonable. If you are looking for a place to get the rust off, this would be a good option.

I was a bit leary after reading other people's reviews, but I have to say I really liked this course. Two people with a cart playing nine holes cost $29, and you can't beat that! There weren't many hazards, but I'm fine with that because I don't golf that well anyway. We'll definitely be back!

Sandy Creek is a decent course if you dont mind crab grass and hard greens. For $5-$10 more, there are definitely some more nice courses around (within 20 minute drive). But, if you want to get in and hack around, this place is just fine. Definitely helps you work on playing from a less than ideal lie. If you are a beginner, it could be challenging BUT you wouldnt have to be worried about tearing up the course. Overall, I'd give it a 5.5 of 10.

The worst possible owner, very rude and disrespectful every time I go try to enjoy my round of golf. Number 7 green is basically a bunker. The fairway is either crab grass or no grass. Good luck having a good time when going here. Would never recommend, the worst public course in this area. Starting with the owner and staff all the way down to the greens and fairways. DO NOT GO HERE

Under new ownership. Currently closed. You need to check out progress of getting golf course up and running again. Eg cleaning out ditches, cutting down trees, mowing overgrown areas. It's not ready for play yet but looks better than it has for years.

Short course.. 5 or 6 driveable par 4s. Greens need some help. $29.50 weekdays w/ a cart. All in all, pretty ok. Not a bad public track.

Terrible course the fairway grass was so deep you couldn't find your ball. The greens were burned up no grass on on over half of them

Tried to call 3 different times to ask about rates. Hung up on once, told "not interested" once, and then was told I was going to be blocked...Guy that answered never actually "answered" the phone, to ask why I was calling.
