Elks Country Club

The course is a Donald Ross course and is the usual very nice layout in the beautiful hills of Southern Ohio. The employees are very nice and friendly and engage in conversation. We had 8 guys playing 3 straight days and the folks who run the course came out and thanked us for coming. I would only say, and I’m sure it was at least partially due to the drought, the fairways and greens were not in the best of shape as they’ve been in the past. However, I’m sure, once they get more rain, the course will be back in the shape it’s typically in. I only gave it a 3 because of the current condition…

this is a great course and the leadership really supports the community be giving money(many thousands)to five local charities in Scioto County.

Beautiful Golf Course

Nice atmosphere everyone is very welcoming... Love their reception / meeting room look forward to upcoming events... The Golf Course looks very well kept... Staff & Management are great. Definitely a must to at least try to add to some great places to Golf. Oh Love the open view of Lounge area.

Keep in mind that this course has regular groups of 5 they let go out! There were two groups of 5 in front of us.We had one of the longest rounds ever coming in about 6 hrs The course has a nice layout, but hopefully you won't get behind a fivesome!

Once a beautiful course is now a shell of its former self. Tee's were beat up and not level, greens very slow and the fairways are terrible. Bathrooms were so dirty, I couldn't stand them... and it took 5 hours to play behind multiple fivesomes...never again

Shawnee Animal Clinic recently had a catered party at The Elks, and it was fantastic! They worked with the caterer, had beautiful decorations, and accommodated us with everything we requested! A Donald Ross designed gem and the best kept public golf secret in Ohio.I played there couple weeks ago.Try to play there 2 to 3x each season despite it being two and one half hour drive each way from Dayton.Bermuda grass fairways fantastic.Maintenance staff obviously take pride in their work.Greens fast and true.Fair but challenging holes from any set of tees.Hole #10 especially challenging.Also,the course has a fun and "Amen Corner" like finishing stretch in holes#15-#18.Tyson is a great pro/ manager and the members I've had the pleasure of playing with there are wonderfully friendly and dow…

It's a very nice golf course!! The only thing is members has priority and they play sometimes 5 and 6 man teams. This in turn make your game super long.

A novice to golf but a world class athlete, and x military 18 plus years of service. . Ive played in over 14 states . But never have i found a golf course that does not give seniors or military a discount price. Until now. 😯😲☹ Average price 18 to 23$ with a cart. Relatively a flat course. Greens are a little fast. Only clubhouse I know of that is not a private country club that serves breakfast.
