In summary

Painesville Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging and scenic layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among golfers. The course offers a peaceful setting with beautiful views and a notable driving range. However, some visitors mention issues such as slow pace of play, occasional maintenance disruptions, and a perceived disparity in quality between the front and back nine. Additionally, a few note that the pricing can be steep, especially given certain ongoing construction and maintenance needs.

Great course. Greens are well maintained and fast. Plenty of obstacles. Fairways always in good shape. Driving range is grass and not mats. Course is isolated from roads and houses it is just the course surrounded by trees. Only slight complaint is the front nine is far superior compared to the back nine. Definitely a great course. Also, they have the best hotdogs in town.

Great course for the price. Almost still feels like a private country club. Beautiful holes and course is in good shape. The sand traps were perfect. A little bit busy on prime time...had to wait on some holes...but worth the wait

Greens were in great shape. Fairways were soft, so we didn't get a lot of roll. A few rainstorms came through. Had a good time . Shot a 79 with a 7 on the last hole and a 5 on last par 3. Very nice course

Course is definitely worth playing, the greens and fairways were in good shape. The greens rolled well. Several of the tee boxes were weedy and mostly sand and dirt.

This is by far my favorite course . Everything is always maintained perfectly, best greens around .The course is challenging but some of the most absolutely beautiful views around . The staff is awesome and friendly , without question the best hot dogs at any course . The pricing is fair and far less than other area courses that cannot even compete with this one . Holes 16,17 have been finished and updated making this place even better . This is my home course now and I’ve never had a single bad experience here .

The course was in great shape. But it was a 5 hr round because they had cart path only, even though there wasn't any damp ground anywhere. The entire course was dry, we were baffled. And $57 was pretty steep considering 17 is under construction and 16 green area needs to be. Probably wont be back any time soon.

Challenging course that is well maintained and definitely an interesting layout. Would like to see hole 16 and 17 completed- Currently working on . *Sand divot mix would be a good addition to the carts . Not sure why not on the new carts.

Excellent condition - unusual but playable layout. Challenging holes but fun to play. High handicappers may struggle but give it a chance. Memorable experience.

For the first time, I drove 40 minutes from Cleveland with my wife on Memorial Day. It is a beautiful course and overall well-maintained golf course. Will come again

Friendly staff. Course was in decent shape, a few tee boxes were in rough shape. Played a fun round with my church's outing.
