The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, and the course features amenities such as a driving range and a stocked snack bar. Course is usually in really good condition especially for a municipal GC. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Front 9 is good but back 9 is much more interesting and challenging. The actual course deserves 5 stars for a city course but I’m knocking off a star because the course can get quite crowded and slow at times, and greens fees + cart fees on the weekends are pretty steep. Also, the range is irons only. The margaritas at the bar are good.

I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the tees, greens and fairways. This course was in awesome condition. Very green and lush. The greens were quick. Overall the fairways were pretty tight and the greens were small. The combination made the round challenging. We only played the back 9 today. If you have not played here, give it a try. It is a city owned public course, but don’t let that discourage you. You will be duly impressed with the condition.

When I thought of Lost Nation, I always thought wide open field next to an airport with "muni maintenance"...turned out pleasantly surprised. Course was pretty well maintained, greens were nice. There is decent amount of trees and water...but there are also some houses lining some of the holes. Holes have some challenge, but not too bad. Not much break on the greens, pretty easy putting. For $32 for 18, would definitely go back again.

I brought my son and my three grandsons out this morning to hit some balls. Found some shade had some laughs and I think they even learned something. Great time.

5-18-22 Very pleased with this track. It is flat and fairly open. For a muni course, it is very very well maintained and has a manicured feel. There are enough obstacles and the rough is pretty lush if you miss the fairway. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in excellent condition. There is a range waaaay back so not helpful unless you get a cart. I wouldn’t be going just for the range. Practice green is also nice. Greens were medium fast. Staff was friendly and cost me $30. Definitely a must play. If I were local, I’d play very often. Snack shop of the golf course variety - beer, brats, e…

My dad and I were thoroughly impressed with this city-owned course. We’re used to playing a beautiful resort course (Sawmill Creek) so we have high standards. We joined my cousin, and we had a great time. The course was in very good condition and the greens were nice. The staff are very nice as well. I’d definitely play here again.

Owner (manager) was incredibly rude to my son and his friends. Although the kids were 18, he would not allow the boys to rent a golf cart. Apparently, he just wanted to be difficult and miserable. The man continued to follow the young men around the course and make their experience awful. Unfortunately, they will not be back and we would never recommend this course to anyone. Customer service is deplorable.

Impressive Muni, here on vacation and been here a few time, maybe I’m just impressed with all the green grass and tress coming from brown first Texas climate, course is in great shape, staff was friendly, and the driving range is full sized and nice

I think the course is well maintained overall and has improved over the last few years. The superintendent and staff deserve a lot of credit. Even the pro shop employee was friendly !👍🙂The snack bar is well stocked and they have a nice comfortable seating area outside and inside area also . I would suggest more sand in a few bunkers and sand jars on the carts would be beneficial to those that want to fix their divots.

Not thrilled with the way they treat our young golfers on this course. In my experience, EVERY other course is better than this one

LNGC is a nice track. Well maintained. Nice layout with some challenging spots on the course, yet not too difficult to shoot lower scores. Nice driving range on the property as well. Definitely recommend.

I recently visited this place, and the course manager was one of the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever met. It was almost as if he was trying to drive the course into the ground with his poor customer service. The food at the golf course was pretty bad as well. It’s safe to say I will never be going there again. The manager ruined our experience. I would give it 0 stars if that were an option.
