In summary

Marine Park Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among many golfers in NYC. The course offers a mix of par lengths and a scenic, links-style setting that adds to its appeal. However, some visitors have noted issues with outdated golf carts, inconsistent maintenance of fairways and bunkers, and occasional slow pace of play.

I had a fantastic time at Marine Park Golf Course! The course is beautifully maintained, with lush greens and challenging layouts that made for an enjoyable round of golf. The scenery is stunning, providing a relaxing backdrop for a day on the course. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made my experience even better. I appreciated the pace of play, as it wasn’t too crowded, allowing us to enjoy our game without feeling rushed. The facilities, including the driving range and clubhouse, were top-notch as well. I’ll definitely be returning for more rounds in the future. Highly recomme…

Love this course. Long and fun layout. Feels like one of the few course in the city that you can actually use the full bag. Long par 5s a variety of par 4s and solid par 3s. Nice mix of water, tree lined holes etc. greens roll true. Reasonably priced, very fun, solid condition, well stocked beverage cart, friendly staff and pretty casual atmosphere. I’ve been a golfer for 20+ years but newer to the NYC golf scene and this seems to be one of the more slept on course but by far my favorite in the city. Driving range is very short and irons only. Pro Tip: bring a little bug spray for the first…

Great course, near bustop so can take train and bus to get there from manhattan. The staff is very friendly and helpful. they have a mat driving range but can only hit irons. The course layout was pretty good and challenging but wide so not too bad. it was in pretty good shape and pace of play wasn't bad at around 4 hours. Would recommend!

I’ve played a lot of courses in the area, and this one stands out in almost every way. The practice facilities are top-notch—from the range to the short game area, everything is well-maintained and thoughtfully laid out. The course itself is in fantastic shape, with beautiful fairways, true-rolling greens, and a layout that challenges without punishing. What really makes this place special is the staff. Everyone—from the pro shop to the starters and rangers—is welcoming, professional, and clearly takes pride in the course. The only reason I’m giving this 3 stars instead of 5 is the golf cart…

Ok Greens. Nice layout, but horrible grounds keeping. Bunkers are filled with debris on every hole, all the rough is filled with debris, feces everywhere and tee boxes are horrible for what you’re paying for is not worth your time and money not to mention how backed up a 4 hour round will take you 5-6

The staff are probably the worst I’ve encountered in my life. Extremely unhelpful, untruthful, and incompetent. I had to call this golf course for over a WEEK to get a refund on my tee time (nearly 300 dollars btw) because the starter LIED and said I checked in on a previous day and played. And I still didn’t get my money back. I would stay away from these people, they do not care about you at all.

I had the pleasure to play today! I never played it before, and I really loved it! Not short, fairways are large but the green complex make it for that. The wind doesn’t help as well. Really, a nice course to play. The lady at the reception was a charm and the caddy master really nice. I do not give five stars because the course was not in its perfect shape with punched greens and I think it would benefit a bit of maintenance. There was only « white » tees today, I don’t know if it was on purpose. Anyway, a great course with lovely people. Friendly and fun, as it should be. Quentin

Best public golf course in NYC. I’ve played it 50+ times over the last 3 years. $30 off peak. $44 peak. Greens are in amazing shape. Yes, there’s patches of fairway that need work. It’s a muni. In the places that matters, this track excels. Fun. Challenging. Great staff. Great new-ish ownership. Never go to Dyker. This place is 10x of a fraction of the price.

Great course, well-maintained, good pace of play. Irons-only driving range but there’s plenty of drivable holes. A few Par 5s sprinkled in there. I liked the links-style layout.

Like the layout, challenging course especially with the wind, fairways and tee box need some love, greens are in excellent shape, pace of play was great 4 hours on a Sunday.

This is my happy place. The staff is kind and relaxed, there’s a grill at the turn and regular cart girls, the course is easily the best public course in NYC (and i’ve played them all) and you can play on a weekday in sub-four-hours. And it’s $40 on a weekday! I dare anyone to find entertainment of this quality for $10 an hour in NYC.
