In summary

Aviator Golf Center is appreciated for its affordability, ample parking, and friendly staff, making it a convenient option for golfers in Brooklyn. However, many visitors express concerns about the facility's maintenance, citing issues with worn-out golf balls, outdated equipment, and neglected practice areas. While the driving range remains functional, there is a general consensus that the center could benefit from significant upgrades and better upkeep.

I was saddened to see how this center has fallen into real disrepair. In years past, I hit balls here a hundred times. Haven't been back in a while and I was depressed to see the shape it turned into. The balls are lucky if they still have dimples. Definitely needs a cash infusion.

It's definitely kinda run down, but afaik it always has been this way. A little moreso nowadays, the chipping and putting area is unmaintained, but the range is fine. Balls are beat up, but about $16 for 100 balls. Can't beat the price. It's the only spot in Brooklyn to work on your long game

The social distancing is not as bad here. You buy your bucket online, walk into shop with mask give your name, get your token and basket and go swing. Get there early if you want shaded spots.

They're still using Covad restrictions - plexiglass at the counter, no cash or credit accepted at the facility, tee times required, and payment through their online system only. All of that would be OK if the balls were halfway decent and the range wasn't such a dump. Aviator has let this and the pitch and putt go downhill for years, and being that they only have an emergency one year lease, it's not likely that either facility will improve anytime soon.

Traditional no frills driving range. Grip it and rip it type of place. If they could maintain the pitching/putting green area, this place be would be great for practicing your game.

The reviews of this place are whack. This is the best, cheapest, biggest, chillest driving range out there. The staff r always so friendly and it’s a great place to shoot balls. And like 95% of the balls r very good in condition. This place is so good I’m actually writing a Google review about it.

So much potential, but such little care. 90% of the balls are unusable. The hitting mats are old, mouldy and hard. You are likely to do damage to your wrist. The last time the grass was cut in the pitching area was probably in 1999. Such a shame. This place could be so good with some TLC.

Two stars instead of one out of sorrow. Place has degraded over the years, not like it was anything special years ago. Zero money put into facilities and land mgmt - I can safely say zero upgrades and minimal maintenance in the 6 years I've been. Never bothered complaining but today was sad. Owner answered another complaint about how customer service would replace unsatisfactory balls, yet that would take 90%+ of the bucket to be fair. If I go back I'm going to make them replace every ball. Website advertises open til 8pm, front desk tells you 730-745, security chases you out at 7pm which is a…

The state of this driving range is genuinely depressing. Chipping green is overrun, the mats are all super worn, the structures look ready to fall down, and the golf balls are the sorriest you've ever seen. Aviator seems determined not to put any amount of investment in, which is such a shame. They would recoup their costs so quickly if they made this range even halfway decent, this really could be a great spot if they cared literally at all.

I used to love this place, everyone with one-star reviews within the last 2 years since Aviator first took over are all true. This place looks like an abandoned Nevada testing ground. They could have filmed Oppenheimer here and get away with no CGI needed. They are completely running this place to the ground, and not updating the equipment. It's sad to see this place fall apart, hopefully someone will turn this place to be a full 18 hole or executive golf course.

Only the driving range is open. Place has been terribly maintained if at all. Only good thing is the price for the range balls.
