Inwood Country Club

For the past couple of years, I have had privilege to play on one of the nations premier old course. It is more of a link style golf course. I must compliment the staff who make the golf outing a very special day. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are presented with attentiveness. If have an opportunity to go, treat yourself.

We held our wedding reception here in Fall of 2017. Inwood CC was such an elegant venue, management was very accommodating, every detail was well thought-out & executed, the food was amazing, and the service was outstanding! We had been searching throughout Long Island & Nassau County for a reception location that struck the right balance between the classiness of the venue, the quality of the food, the reasonableness of the price, event privacy, & the flexibility to customize details. Apparently plane spotters are not welcomed here. I asked the owner if I could plane spot from the parking lot and unfortunately he said I could not. I understand it's private property which makes it the owners right not to let me plane spot there. But it is a country club which makes it open to the public like I could have bought a membership if required but the owner said no when I asked to if I could plane spot there. His loss in a potential customer.

Nothing like a beautiful day at the Inwood CC. I’ve been a member for almost 4 years and very proud of it.

Course in great shape. Nice views, challenging track. Staff all respectable. Food very good.

Excellent course. It was really well maintained. Terrific fairways and greens were immaculate. Very challenging play, greens played fast, and prevailing winds of south shore added to difficulty.

Went to a really nice party here. The food was great the wait staff was nice and we had a very nice afternoon. Country clubs are really not my thing because I don’t play golf. But this very nice birthday party was very enjoyable and the food selection and quality was top notch. If we lived in the area this would definitely be on my list as a great event space. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and it’s nicely secluded. An oasis near jfk airport!!

If you loved being buzzed by international aircraft all day, hearing sirens in the property around it This is your place. Hard to concentrate on golf when the 95 airplanes heading overseas is in the constant backswing. Course it self is okay lots of back and forth odd having 3 par 5s in a row.
