In summary

Bay Park Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained grounds, scenic water views, and affordability, making it a suitable choice for beginner golfers and those seeking a quick round. The 9-hole course features a mix of par 3s and par 4s, offering a good opportunity to practice irons and wedges. However, some visitors have noted issues with maintenance, particularly concerning the greens and bird guano, and there are occasional complaints about the lack of a dedicated website for booking tee times.

Well maintained, inexpensive and beautiful water views. This is a great short course for beginner golfers to learn on with 6 par 3's and 3 par 4's. As an avid golfer it's good course to work on irons and wedges.

As far as county 9 hole courses go, this one is well maintained. It's no country club, but it's not a dump either. A sunrise/sunset round is always made more enjoyable with the sweeping views of the surrounding inlet.

Nice 9-hole course to practice especially if you just want a quick round. 3 par 4's the rest par 3's. Short, par 30 total for the course. Usually takes 1hr 45 minutes. Usually no wait times, and not very crowded. Sometimes if place is slow from beginners or inexperienced golfers ahead, I just take a bunch of practice shots at each hole instead so it's not bad. Also, pretty good price during week $17 for residents $9 for seniors.

Very bad conditions. Consistently the worst public course on Long Island.

Below average maintenance on tees and greens. Nice vistas and interesting layout. A huge setback is the bird guano that is really out of control now and during the summer. Other courses manage the geese overrun but it doesn’t seem to matter here.

Played late afternoon yesterday... great fall weather in the high 50s. Typical Nassau county public track (one of four 9 holes tracks) where TLC is severely lacking and it shows on the greens with a lot of bare patches. Nevertheless, there were at least three Par 3 holes over 190 yards, so the course will test your mettle with the long irons. Also, the water views on the South Shore were great.

Nice little course. Should consider an 18 hole or replay rate.

Nice, simple, 9 hole course. And those reviews saying why is there no website, it’s 2020, what’s wrong with the owner, I can’t book online— it’s a Nassau County course. Nassau County is the owner. And you can book online, but must be a resident and have a leisure pass
