In summary

Deer Creek Golf & Tennis RV Resort is praised for its friendly staff, well-maintained course, and variety of amenities, making it a popular choice for both residents and visitors. The resort offers a pleasant golfing experience with a par 60 layout, and additional features like a driving range, pools, and a Tiki bar enhance its appeal. However, some visitors have noted issues with course conditions, such as inconsistent greens and crowded play, which can affect the overall experience.

Good golf course. The staff was great and playing the course was fun.

In town for work and decided to get a round of golf in. Rental clubs available, nice driving range, great food (sandwiches and ice cream being the specialty), and nice people. To top it off, great on the value. Only complain is lots of par 3’s, but not too bad! Worth the visit.

It’s a quaint little executive course. If you have never played it it’s all par 3’s and 4’s. Some of the 3’s are less than 100 yds and could be extended, but they don’t use those tee boxes. Some of the greens had some disease, but l never felt it interfered with putting. But the speeds are inconsistent. At least half of the tee boxes need leveling. The traps are a soft powder/sand, and are in good condition and large. At least two par 3’s are blind shots, and the one par 4 (15th) has a massive oak tree in the middle of the fairway. The pace of play was wonderful, but the course had few players…

Enjoyed our round today. Greens are not in the best of shape but it looks like they are working on them to improve their surface.

Deer Creek RV Golf & Country Club is a major disappointment for any golfer expecting a quality round. It’s a glorified RV park with a golf course, masquerading as a ‘country club.’ This was my first and likely last time playing here. Right from the start, the pace of play was unbearable. Our group was rushed along the entire 18 because they had overbooked, slotting in 40 players right behind us. They even admitted they shouldn’t have scheduled so many tee times, but that didn’t stop them from pushing us along at every hole. The course conditions are rough—quite a few fairways have bare patche…

Very nice 4 and 3 par course. Well taken care of and a nice course to take someone who is learning to golf. The price is also great!

Great place to live, clean pools and bathrooms in pool house areas. Some year round residents are snobbish and do not like co-mingling of residents from other communities on any regular basis. It does cater to golfing enthusiasts and golf carts & golfers are allowed just about everywhere. It's a double gated community with gate security a major factor here. Gate code changes can be problematic at times. But overall it's a lovely place to live and/or just play golf.

There is a reason why you can get a tee off time anytime. Its not a proper golf course. If uou are a serious golfer do not play this course.

Deer Creek Golf and Country Club is a VERY nice 55 and over community. We just bought in, and the office is great to work with. Glenda was phenomenal, and helped us every step of the way. They were all very fast and professional. Great amenities including golf, pools, shuffleboard, horseshoes, tennis, card games, bingo, darts, music bands, Tiki bar, snack shop, community rooms. Very nice people who live there, and it feels safe. My wife and I feel very blessed to be a part of this community.

Deer Creek welcomed an entire group of ladies from another development last year and treated each of us as if we lived there. We have enjoyed 2 years of league play and were very welcomed by all. Keep up the fantastic service to the community!
