Amazing experience! Great round of golf on excellent course conditions! Greens were rolling perfectly, fairways (when I found them) were in great shape as well. The course layout is open and all in front of you making it a great place to play. I found plenty of sand in well taken care of bunkers. If you are visiting the area and looking for a place to play that welcomes the public and offers a great round of golf, this is definitely the course for you!

We had a good, well-paced round on Friday March 6. Staff was good. Greens and fairways were very nice, with the greens being both the hero and the villain. They are beautiful and evil. Changes of elevation and perched greens give the golf course a unique personality that wants you to play it again.

I’ve played a total of six rounds at Highlands Reserve Golf Club over the past three years, and I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed. The staff greets you each morning with a sincere hello, and the team inside the pro shop is always friendly and professional. The course layout is a lot of fun, offering a great variety of holes that keep the round interesting from start to finish. The tee decks are pristine, the fairways are in excellent condition, and the greens are fast and nicely undulating. If you’re playing during the winter months, I highly recommend spending some time on the…

We’ve played here on our Christmas trips over the past 3 years and still not disappointed. Played on a Monday, easy 4 hr round with no rush from behind or waiting in front. Staff was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. The greens provided soft landings, great roll, true and consistent without bare spots. Fairways and tee boxes above average for public courses.

Having bought a house in the community 4 years ago, i can tell you that the course has never looked better. the whole staff is very nice. Afternoon summer rates are incredible and winter rates are a great value for the current quality of the course. Highly recommend.

We play here in the winter months every year and the course gets better and better. The holes are interesting, but still It’s very accommodating for women. The greens are also in great shape, but can be tricky on some holes. Highlands is a good value compared to other courses in the area.

Played February 2025 twice while Staying across the street at Regal Palms. Course was much better than I was thinking. It is very forgiving but does have some tricky greens especially some of the pins we played. 6300 ish from the blacks. No water on course but they say snakes are an issue in places. Staff was great. Really got a kick out of Sully in the cart barn. Golf course: -Greens were great. -Bunkers are decent -Fairways, no complaints -Tee boxes could use some TLC Tee times are snapped up quick I learned waiting to book a two some. One thing I would like to see, is lower junior rates. I…

A friendly team and a good course to play at a sensible rate, ie value for money. Recently introduced GPS on the buggies. Pace of play is typically 4 hours of less. Marshalls have a presence, albeit with our group(s) they only needed to say 'hello', but they were clearly on the course to protect the pace of play. Greens and tees in good condition, good sand in bunkers. We had an issue with frost on our latest visit (a coldest day in the past 20+ years in Florida!), and the proactive communications revising/delaying the tee times was very helpful and we went out at 10:20 as communicated. We wil…

SLOW PLAY RANGER RUDE TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS LETS 5 BALLS PLAY LETS PEOPLE GIVE LESSONS ON THE COURSE AT PEAK TIMES SLOWING EVERYONE DOWN Ranger does nothing at all just drives round and repairs pitch marks, he doesn't move people on even when they loss holes from the players in front. Group Of 5!!! refused to let us play though and ranger wouldn’t make them making us wait 10 minutes on ever tea box and still having to wait to play ever shot. Tried to pair us with another player even though no one was booked in to play for another 30 minutes. The pro shop said we didn’t need to pair up b…

I played Highlands Reserve Friday January 30, 2026. I have not played much Florida Golf, so I really didn't know what to expect. I'll try to hit on my whole experience. Price was good, I guess. $119. Service was Great... from being met in the parking lot with our carts, to the guy at check-in, the Starters, the Rangers, and finally being met in the parking lot upon finishing our round. Golf Course conditions: Tees and Greens were phenomenal. Fairways were very green, but cut so low that it felt like you were hitting off of hardpan. The rough was bad. It was dormant, which I believe is to be ex…

I played 5 rounds here when I was staying nearby on a family trip in August 2025. The price was reasonable, especially as visitors are given a discount coupon for future visits. The course was in nice condition and the greens in particular are excellent. It is quite forgiving with not too much trouble, so if you are looking to shoot your best ever score this is a great course to do it. The staff inside the clubhouse were all very friendly, as was the starter and the cart guy. The driving range and putting green are good. The chipping green needs a bit of work but at least they have one so i…
