Let me start this review by stating that I am not a good golfer. Passionate, yes, good, no. I play a few times a year and I don't tend to keep score. If I finish the round with the ball I started with that's a huge accomplishment. I am also a resident of ChampionsGate - not a member of the Country Club, but I live on the course itself. I booked a round of golf in Thanksgiving week for myself and my twin sons (20) - we are all casual golfers, but we understand golf etiquette, we treat the course with respect, we try our best. Played today in 4:20 minutes. 4 players. Rushed whole round due to inconsiderate members. Each member had own souped up cart. The armada raced down fairway and stared us down all the time. No where for them to go. Of course 4 members in their own carts will play faster than us in 2 carts. Was very irritating. Will not be back.

Decent course. We got rushed 4 times in a 5 hole period. They stated they would make us skip a hole if we didnt pick it up. Here's the issue, we were at the starter at the exact tee time. He paired us up with a random 2 some, no big deal but that process of him retrieving the 2 some took 5 minutes. Then they gave out a broken driver in the rentals, thus delaying us more since they had to run back to pro shop to change. Now we are about 15 minutes behind the schedule start. The course is in great shape, well maintained, beautiful layout, large and strategic bunkers, fair greens. A drawback: there’s quite some distance between the holes and you need to cross a lot of roads. Nice driving range as well if you don’t mind hitting some balls in the lake (that’s how they designed it). The food is good and the service excellent. I’d recommend this course.

The course was in decent shape nothing out of the ordinary from any other country club, no complaints in that aspect. In my opinion the employees were dismissive and rude, which made us feel unwelcome from the start. Just keep the course closed off to public if you don't want non-members to play. If your on vacation try other courses in the ChampionsGate area. The staff made the round stressful by repeatedly rushing our group to finish within a strict four-hour window. I left my bushnell range finder, speaker and phone holder on cart it was dark when we left and my group was late for a reservation for dinner so bad on me for rushing. I called the proshop next morning and was told they might have them at bag drop and to call that night to see if they were turned in. It would have been easy enough to jot my number and follow up but they had no interest. It was $700 worth of stuff not just a head cover. Golf course was fine. If you play in the morning do not expect to come back to a clean car. Their sprinklers are not timed appropriately and will deposit hard water all over your car, costing your hours of time from your life scrubbing it out.

Well groomed course. Cart attendant didn’t pay much attention and couldn’t stop chatting with some finished members to get us out there. Pace was slow as locals cut through and nobody was there to keep time. Residents/ guests let there kids play on greens and I had ask them to move politely or risk hitting them. Little kids took our balls. Nice course but for the money the experience was lackluster. I’d consider trying again but I need to forget how frustrating it was first.

Okay links type course. I found many holes to be repetitive but it is worth a play one time. Tons of bunkers that are placed in perfect locations and conditions were above average.

On 12/11/25, I booked a 1:50 p.m. tee time. The systems were down, so I called in and made the reservation over the phone. When I arrived at 1:50, I was told I didn’t have an appointment. After insisting they check again, they finally found it—only to inform me that the person who wrote it down never entered it into the system once it came back online. Since moving from Denver, Colorado to Davenport,Florida 2 years ago this Chilis is one of our favorite places that makes of feel like we’re home!! We love their basket of chips and delicious salsa (which is hard to find in Florida) Their hamburgers are amazing as well as their steaks.
