In summary

Mystic Dunes Golf Club has received praise for its dramatic and diverse layout, improved course conditions, and friendly, accommodating staff. The recent renovations and management changes have enhanced the golfing experience, with many appreciating the well-maintained greens and fairways. However, some visitors have noted issues with inconsistent turf quality and occasional slow pace of play.

Mystic Dunes, offers great conditions, diverse golf and a remarkable location adjacent to 429 & near I-4. Historically, local Orlando golfers often left Mystic Dunes off "best condition" lists because the course struggled heavily with transition turf, poor bunker drainage, and inconsistent greens under its previous ownership. However, the massive $4 million+ total course renovation backed by Hilton completely overhauled the facility from tee to green—installing pristine Tif-Eagle Bermuda greens, rebuilding the bunkers, and fixing the long-standing drainage issues. Furthermore, bringing in Tr…

Accommodation was 1 bedroom with full kitchen & living room combined. Bathroom had a great shower. Bed was comfortable but the pillows are very large, not comfortable for sleeping. Sofa made into a bed but was not comfortable for sitting. Great set up for family with children. Floors were no carpet except the bedroom and furniture was wipeable for cleaning spills. Kitchen was equipped with dishes; coffee pot & silverware as well as pots and pans. Nice size refrigerator and electric stove. Nice golf course as well as mini putt putt golf. Multiple pools for swimming & Sun 🌞 All staff were friend…

The course shows much improvement from when I played last year. Greens are in good condition and fast! Fairway lies are tight and the rough grasses, though dormant, are quite playable. The signature Par 3 11th hole has newly re-sodded tee decks and rejuvenated water features to complement the challenging tee shot over water. Mystic Dunes continues to be my favorite course in the Orlando/Kissimmee area, requiring thoughtful approach shots into tricky greens. Staff are friendly, courteous and always accommodating.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite vacation golf courses. Wide open fairways that are nice for ladies and seniors. Greens were in great shape, but you do need to be an excellent putter to master them. Still fun to try and get close. Staff is friendly and.extremely helpful. Beautiful course. Kenzies Restaurant is top notch. Staff, food and drinks are excellent. This is our second trip here. Planning on many more to come.

Great experimente. Een it was a little bit cold total, it was great. Stuff at the shop and course was very helpful. I will come back.

The experience was pretty poor start to finish. We had several tee times for our group and the starter was incredibly rude. The course could be a nice track with a few gimmicky holes and a tough and fair test but the conditioning was horrible and it was obvious ownership has not invested in the course in the appropriate spots or at all. The turf was sparse in several places and the greens had several large areas which were under repair. The borders of the bunkers were poorly defined and not maintained making for impossible lies and conditions. There were several areas within 5 feet of the gree…

Played a solo round here and it is already one of my favorites in Orlando. Conditions were very good - tee boxes were fine (lots of divot repairs but who cares), fairways very nice, greens in good shape, bunkers were pristine. Speaking of bunkers, they are everywhere and some of them are huge. The greens provide the most challenge because they have lots of hills and breaks in them. I had too many 3 putts but once I play it more I'll start to understand the greens more. Pace of play wasn't bad but could have been better. I had two slow pairs in front of me but nobody behind until the last thre…

What a beautiful course. My friend and I are very pleased we chose this golf course. The staff were wonderful, the course was magnificently groomed, we used rentals clubs which were top notched. The greens we very true and well manicured I was also pleased after the rain from yesterday it was still cart path today. For me that was huge as I just had a knee replacement. I can’t wait to get back down to Florida to play this course again. It is now my go to course.

Course was in great shape. Their improvements really make the course a good option for the area at a decent price. Very playable course for average golfers. I would definitely play there again. They also have great merch in the pro shop.

Course wasn’t a $140+ condition track at all. Several greens had damage and finding “green grass” in the fairways was hit and miss. Also the tee boxes were sketchy at best. The course is tough but fair but the condition was really disappointing. I’ll play elsewhere next trip.

Golfed here Tuesday, January 13th. 2 of the greens had small patches being repaired from some sort of damage, the rest were good and all were fast. The fairways and tees were great. We enjoyed our round and we will be looking forward to making a return next year. In the restaurant, the loaded fries were excellent and enough for 3 people.

Nice little track, but unfortunately the greens are in terrible shape. And I'm not even talking about how they just recently punched the greens about a week or so ago, I'm talking about the fact that on several greens they have massive patches of 2-in plus deep grass all over the place on the greens. Would rather spend $40 in place something local in the drive an hour and a half to play the famous mystic dunes LOL
