Had a great time this weekend at the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club from the moment we pulled into the parking lot. The lot attendant was friendly and made sure we knew where we were going when we arrived. Golf shop again verified we knew where to go and the cart attendants rounded out the friendliness. Course was in very good shape and always so relaxing to play. It's a frequent course when we're in the area.

Golf Course Review: Waldorf Astoria Golf Club – Orlando, FL The Waldorf Astoria Golf Club in Orlando is a truly beautiful course—scenic, well-designed, and a pleasure to play from start to finish. The layout is both challenging and enjoyable, making it a great choice for golfers of all skill levels. The tee boxes were in excellent condition, and the pace of play was spot on, allowing for a smooth and relaxing round. While most of the greens were well-maintained, a couple could use a bit of improvement, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming…

Cart GPS was broken and they lost my putter cover. I played the course twice on a business trip recently. The course is nice but the staff bizarrely lost my putter cover between the cart and the parking lot. They also only cleaned half of the clubs. I left them a nice tip (beforehand, when I got out of the cart) so was surprised to get to the hotel and find the putter cover missing to my Scotty Cameron Phantom. They run about $60 to replace. The next day I went to play the course again and asked about the cover, which they couldn’t find, and showed them the half cleaned clubs. They sort of s…

The guys originally wanted to play the Ritz course, but it was closed, so we ended up at Waldorf instead. Honestly… best audible we could’ve called. And this is coming from someone who was already mentally prepared to spend the round pretending the Ritz was automatically superior because it costs more. Golf people love doing that. “Exclusive” apparently means charging you extra for disappointment now. Waldorf was unreal. The whole place looks fake in the best possible way. Like someone designed a golf course inside a luxury resort simulation and forgot to add any flaws so it would feel believ…

One of my favorite courses of all time. Fairways and greens were exceptional. It felt like I was chipping the ball off a carpet. Fluffy grass everywhere, even the rough felt phenomenal. Service was great as well. This course is the one that stood out the most to me in my Orlando Golf trip

Staff is wonderful, friendly and courteous. Course in general is in good shape but the greens are in very poor shape, and #6 is in terrible condition. Don’t believe the reason the staff gave me “last hurricane soaked the greens and damaged them”, hurricane season is around the corner, greens are going to get even worse (unthinkable). IMO greens are sick and need to be fully replaced. Staff should be more honest and mention this during check in. Good experience, definitely, but a discounted rate should be applied until greens are in good condition. If not fixed, then book a different course, it…

The course is great. The “player assistants” as they call them were sub-par from beginning to end. When I arrived at 9:15AM for my 9:50AM tee time, there was a 5-10 minute wait for valet at the bag drop area, which was so backed up I had to get out five cars back and walk my bag up and the “player assistant” didn’t bother helping or pointing me in the right direction. After the round, the cart assistants came over and started cleaning my partner’s clubs but the minute I tipped him, they stopped and drove the carts away and never even cleaned my clubs. When I arrived at the valet to leave, the…

Played in a corporate scramble recently and did not expect much but it was a really enjoyable course. Price might be a bit much but if you are here on a family vacation or business conference and want a convenient round of golf near the resorts, I would put this near the top of the courses down around Disney. Service is top notch, course is well maintained, fun design. I am local to Orlando and was concerned about the course modification they did several years ago to expand the resort facility, if you did not know anything going in, you won't notice on the course, the changes are seamless.

Phenomenal track. Very well maintained and in great shape. Nice practice area. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The course is legit. Long but also pretty wide. Approach shots are tough but the greens are true. GPS in the carts. Played fast and for the $60 online rate, it was an incredible value. Highly recommend.

Wow... just wow! We went on a Hot Deal from Golf Now for $50, but this has been a course I've wanted to play for a while. Cheap summer rates usually means the greens have been punched, And they were (is what it is) Probably a couple weeks out for them to be back to normal. That being said, the course was in great shape, literally like hitting off the carpet in your house. The course has a great layout and everything is well manicured. The first course this Summer whose greens weren't attacked by nematodes. Everything is just esthetically pleasing All the greens are raised and are protected wel…

This track is outstanding. The service from everyone is top notch and not stuffy. Easily one of the best courses in Florida. Well maintained and not what you would expect from a resort type course.

Great golf course, top notch service when pulling up.... Practice facility and balls were about the worst part of this whole spot... Great putting and chipping area... Golf course layout is tough but there's a little room for errant shots, plenty of water and very well placed bunkers throughout the course, the bunkers were in absolute perfect shape!!! I played in the rain ( as seen in the pictures ) so it was plenty wet but the course drained great and the traps were still perfect.... Then the greens!!! Tons of slope and undulation, absolutely perfect condition and in the rain still rolled abo…
