In summary

Grand Cypress Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful course conditions, unique layout, and attentive staff, offering a premium golfing experience with wide fairways and challenging greens. The club's links-style design, reminiscent of the Old Course at St. Andrews, and its strategic bunkers provide a memorable and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. However, some visitors express concerns about the high fees, ongoing construction affecting amenities, and occasional issues with course maintenance and pace of play.

Played The Links side - Jack did a phenomenal job bringing the Old Course to life in FL. Wide open Fairways - but, the bunkers are ridiculously challenging. Found myself in a deep green side bunker- #bunker won. And, when you do get to the green— buckle up. Staff and Service were all five-star. Wish I could’ve played another 18 on Cypress. Highly recommend playing.

The surrounding area was under construction and there isn’t a bar/clubhouse - you have to walk to the hotel afterward for a drink. All that’s fine - but they shouldn’t be charging full price. $300/round things should be more complete.

This golf course was in excelent condition. It is beautiful and not a piece of grass out of place. Both courses have an amazing design. This place was empty, I had the course to myself. So peaceful. Just pricey, wish they offered a Florida resident discount.

Despite only 50F today, the course was absolutely beautiful and love the links style (wide open and clear view ahead). The greens are tricky, very challenging to play but a lot of fun! Hope to come back another warmer day!

I had the pleasure of planning a group event here for my company's community members. I worked directly with Michael Henry who was very communicative over several weeks of planning. We originally had a booking for 24 players, then 12 players then 15 players and I had tons of questions throughout the process - throughout Michael created a smooth and clear process for us. 10/10 would book again if in the area

The Grand Cypress links course was so much fun! The property is beautiful and I loved the St Andrew’s mock up holes and shared greens. Very unique experience and just as fun as you would expect links play to be. Greens were soft and slow in the late spring/early summer but that is to be expected this time of year on a course this old. Fire up the driver and let it fly!!! Swing by the grill that overlooks the lagoon for lunch and a beer/cocktail and you won’t be disappointed.

One of the most inhospitable resorts I've ever had the misfortune of stepping foot on. I've never felt so unwelcomed. From the gate guard to the pro shop and finally guest services. I would never spend a dime here.

Played the Cypress course. Tore the skin on my fingers through the front nine. Fortunately run into Marcus who works at resort and he helped me get some bandaids from the starter Jimmy. Many thanks to both!

Course Review: Cypress Course at Grand Cypress ⛳️ Located at the incredible Evermore Resort, the Cypress Course is pure Florida golf. Wide fairways, plenty of water, and some massive bunkers placed exactly where you want to hit it. It’s a course that keeps you thinking — but never feels unfair. Hole 3 is a highlight — a true island green that immediately gives off TPC Sawgrass #17 vibes. It’s the kind of hole you take a video of before you even tee off. One of my favorite things? The natural tee boxes. You tee off from the same surface as the fairway, which just adds to the flow and visual…

Now THIS is a golf course - beautiful, open, and fun. Premium experience from the great folks in the pro shop to the range attendant to the starter. It is a Nicklaus course which the starter explained to us meant lots of water and lots of pin placements on green crowns - boy, was he right. Traps and water are strategically located so there is no easy path - you have to hit around or big-hit over almost every hole - no gimmies here! I loved that. You really have to think and either lay up or strategize around hazards; you can't just go out and hit whatever and expect a decent score. Even on thi…

I played the Cypress Course not the Links. I came to the course not knowing what to expect. However, the two days before, I played Bay Hill. My expectations were not as high as Bay Hill, so I was pleasantly surprised by what i got. It was not overseeded, which means it did not look great. But looks are deceiving for this course. The grass was half green and half yellow. Tee boxes were in great shape. Fairways were large and smooth. The greens were running fast. Somewhere about an 11. The rolled true and not bumpy. Now the design of the course is deceptive. The fairways are very large. There…
